Up to 300 chapters it's not a bad Hollywood novel, but with each new chapter the story turns into the typical, ‘Everything Chinese is good! Even if it defies logic and common sense. One of the funniest and most amusing moments was when the author, who had previously mocked gay men, decided to send the main character to star in a film called Brokeback Mountain, why? Maybe because succubi don't care who they sleep with? Maybe Chinese Martin thinks gay films are art? No, you can mock gays and their films and values, but if this gay film was made by a Chinese director, then - then go ahead and make this film, because it's pure art!!! He even wants to win an Oscar for Best Actor with this role, the author is aware that this film was promoted so aggressively that the Academy had to give out an award to get gay activists off their backs. And that award is still considered one of the controversial Oscars, just like Gweneth Paltrow and Moonlight. You know, the author has been so brainwashed that he already takes such absurd things for granted. Although he tried to hold back at first, he had an argument with Eng Lee and decided not to make up any more, a succubus living for thousands of years prefers Chinese food, THIS IS A COUNTRY WITH 5 THOUSAND YEARS OF HISTORY!!!!. God, it was so painful to read this piece of crap from the brainwashing system that I've dumbed down and now I'm not swearing but shouting out a meaningless set of words from Dirty Horse and Grass!
Dude write the names of these top 5 ff. IN Webnovel is a ton of rubbish, and it's very hard to find good ff on Chinese sites.
I don't want to offend your feelings and views of the world bro... But, in the Middle Ages, the Son is the first line of Heirs / Warlords / Politicians for the House. And the Daughters... a political resource for rapprochement with other houses through marriage bonds.
Not bad, though naive in places, but for a novice author who's mostly interested in Marvel and Anime, that's commendable. Welcome to harsh reality, that's how I'd like to greet all authors of fanfiction on anime and other garbage. (And those authors who thwarted anime and GOT... a separate cauldron in hell awaits them!) Anyway, back on topic, the ff has potential, but I would advise the author to write while he can, and after the inspiration is gone, start editing his work. Take out the anime, then - there's the naivete of being a 5 year old super genius, sword master, and so on. Dig into the GOT wiki lore a bit, but don't get carried away, it's purely to avoid logical holes in the story. Well, start a new book, already with a mature version of the protagonist, more serious, and a little - a little depth for the atmosphere. A more severe version of the protagonist, you can emphasize bad childhood, more battles, training warriors, taking over Skagos, becoming a Chieftain. You can add a local floki (you watched the Vikings, right?), which will help build a drakkar, with these drakkars can go loot all in a row, from the pirates to the land of the blog. You can arrange a mini-conflict with the North of - for MC raids, the Starks are still strong). In general, the peace agreement with the Starks, construction in Skagos, the opening of a new trade route to Essos, you can do whaling. You can drop in on the Wildlings, recruit them, and there's a zombie encounter, you get the idea). Conflicts, Wars, intrigue, kingdom building, and so on and so forth! That is - the potential is huge, you can write a chic fanfic, about a brutal savage pirate. And so I wish the author good luck, and I hope he doesn't go back to Comics and Anime again.
I've read 27 chapters, and I can tell you with certainty that this is not my cup of tea. It started off surprisingly well, especially considering what site we are on now. But from the moment the protagonist got into his first battle, as the author himself ironized, it all went downhill. No, it wasn't a fatal problem that the protagonist foolishly revealed himself to be a genius. No I roughly understand the reason for it. 1 - The author wanted to make the protagonist an exemplary peer of Jon Snow and others. It's not clear why this was so important, maybe he wants to marry the mc to beauties from the show, Marjorie for example? 2 - Because of the first point, the author created a time limit, there is so much to do, and there is not enough time to do it all! So the main character started to realize his plans as a 4 year old child. 3 - The author realized that it was hard to achieve the planned goals for a 4 year old child from a retarded home and... So he added a certain "The Watcher" to the fanfic. All would be well, but all this began to accumulate like a snowball, which only harms the book. 1 and 2 - Because of the author's decision to make mc a contemporary of Jon Snow, the author unknowingly caused a lot of problems, both logical, in the form of absurdity of what is happening, such as serious negotiations of the Queen of Thorns with a 4-year-old child. So problems with dissonance of the - above described, and suffered from the characters and the behavior of the characters from the original. 3 - In an attempt to smooth the angles with the new character, the author has turned a more - less serious fanfic in a full Marty Stu. The Watcher turns out to be a very gifted teacher, revered by his crowd of apprentices. By his mere presence, he has created a shield for the protagonist to keep him from being killed as a child. But that's not all, the apprentices... These apprentices in turn turned out to be masters of combat, espionage and so on, and of course by all the laws of the genre, they will train soldiers for mc, train spies and all the right people-subordinates to realize the goals of our mc. And I'm even silent about politics in general, and the reactions of the various factions to the antics of the protagonist. For myself, one of the main problems of the fanfic is its motif: World Peace. Which is quite naive in the setting of A Song of Ice and Fire. You're already subconsciously beginning to downplay the merits, skipping details and prodigious work on the fanfic, because you can already smell the rainbow ponies and the song about friendship. Exaggerating of course, but I think you get the point. In the end, we have a well-written work where the author was able to balance plot and humor. Quality product, which, unfortunately, slowly began to fall to the level of Webnovel.
I've just started reading and I'm concerned about the copyright issue. Many people, myself included, read novels about Actors, singers, and so on, for their opportunities and chances. You're interested in reading how a character picks good, iconic roles in movies. Well, or sings equally good songs, and you as a reader enjoy it immensely. I, for example, listen to the music the main character sings in the background, or watching chapters that describe how different characters watch a certain movie. You want to watch those movies yourself, and more than once I've had it that while reading a chapter I caught a flashback of a movie and went for 2 hours to watch the movie). And so from here comes my question, in your novel will only author content, which no one needs (No offense bro, but I'm even too lazy to read these songs as poems.), or will still be "plagiarism"? It's just that if the novel will only have author's content, it makes no sense to me to read such a thing. Especially with regard to the topic of movies, you know, sorry for the rudeness, but so far, read the chapters left only a negative impression.
What have you been reading, share bro)! And to be honest, I've even switched to Chinese entertainment industries because of the lack of Hollywood novels... Although there are still a few novels with a female protagonist, but I don't read that kind of stuff. There's also a piece of crap from the author of I'm in Hollywood. If I'm not mistaken he has two novellas about Hollywood and both are total crap. So far, the best one is White 13 (that's the author's name, well that's how his nickname is translated in English... you get it.). If anything, check this list, I've thrown links in the comments, but that's all materiaal). Curse webnovel they don't even have a private messaging function, but notifications of donations come as a message.... https://www.novelupdates.com/viewlist/13965/
You can check out the Game of Thrones ffs, but if you're looking for that particular level of novel, there's too few of them. Not that there aren't any, but you're likely to be disappointed, because the balance of realism in such works is very immature. As a result, instead of a sensible protagonist, the author, because of his experience, makes the hero a complete idiot. Either the text will be too naive, then our hero is described as a fairly intelligent man, but a dozen chapters later he behaves like a 6-year-old boy.
