While I think that some sections might be info-dumpy, the story is pretty good overall and I like the purge-style story its trying to tell.
I realy liked the conversation at the start between the friends about their lives in the future, it seems like a real conversation that most people have at that age. I also admire how the main character doesn't just want the stereotypical American dream. My main criticism is the grammar and spelling could use some work. I also feel like writing that you agree with the quote the you mentioned felt a bit unecessary. Still, its a good job.
When i first read the title I wasa bit curious at how things would go, I'm not finished with it yet but so far the book is really good. I love how the characters act and how The writer shows their relationship with action instead of just words.
First of all, I love how this book jumps right into the action, wasting no time showing off the world and what can be done there. The fighting was exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat. The writer also updates very frequently meaning that there is no shortage of content here.
After reading this chapter I gotta say, wow what a rush. That first chapter really set things up well and hit hard, going from happy to cheerful to creepy in just a couple of sentences. I really was not expecting that tone shift. My only criticism is that the last part felt a bit abrupt as I was not entirely sure what exactly was happening in the change. I feel like a bit more time could have been spent exploring the change in scenery. Aside from that though, the story is excellent so far and I am really looking forward to seeing how the story develops.

I'm in the second chapter so far, but I am liking it so far. There's a clear setup and the character has a distinct personality right away and sticks in your head. The style is also really good and kinda charming which helps keep you invested. My only criticism is that it could use a bit more polishing to fix some grammatical mistakes and to give some extra context of what is happening.
