I love this book. But.. isn’t this suppose to be a romance novel? There’s an awful lot of war and conflict 😕

I’m not understanding why riftan and maxi haven’t reconciled yet. It’s been a bunch of fighting. We get a little nibble or progress and positivity and then its snatched away. This chapter was not important.

Why is he gripping her so hard? I’m rereading UTOT while letting new chapters build up and i never remembered maxi being hurt by him leading her away before. I never read it as a hard grip 😕

This is all i see when they say things like this!😂😂

Does anyone else try to visualize her “thrashing” and ”shaking like a lightning bolt struck her” and end up picture this? 😂😂
