and this is where I stop. I'm dropping this story. you have a vampire older than civilization itself that got snuck up on. someone who has the ability to spawn black holes on a whim, control minds, and has "Supernatural self-preservation". but walked into a trap and being snuck up on. not noticing an Army in the woods, it's too forceful for the author so I'm dropping.
![Cliffhanger Extravaganza]! 97% cliffhangers I started reading this when there was only ~30 chapters and it has been cliffhanger after cliffhanger. The writing is good but every chapter feels like "NEXT TIME on Dragon Ball Z" it's to the point where I can't even read it anymore. I hate feeling disappointment after reading; it ruins my mood. (If this review is removed I will post again and again. saved it on Google docs and i will put a counter on how many times I have to repost it)
This Author is a terrible writer, he can't even write a complete thought. Over-reliance on Cliffhangers is not a skill. It shows a lack of skill. This 2/3 of a "chapter" has finally pushed me too my apathetic break point. So I'm dropping this disappointment of a story.
So if she was a normal vampire. she would predate human migration to North America (16,000 to 13,000 years ago) and predate writing by 11,000 years. She would predate Mesopotamian civilization ( one of the first permanent settlements) by ~9,000 years.
Well, it's still simple. Kill his power or his death requirement then him. unless you mean that the joker's supposed power is so strong it can't be killed by the literally embodiment of death itself who can casually kill Universe Concepts.
Ok, I truly don't mean this personally and I appreciate that you engaged with my post but, that was in my opinion, a very stupid statement. Comparing a mass murderer, insane, mind controlling scum to a child is plan baffling. As to changing the DC story. He already has, and the only thing he will change by killing the joker is the death of Lois so Superman won't just start killing people. That sounds like a good change. What else would change if the MC killed the joker?
Why can't he just kill the joker? He can kill the concept of space but not a single human who is insane? if this is his supposed retirement why would he allow someone to ruin his retirement? MC can just kill him and then go back to retirement.
But a clown without humor is a joke within itself.
No, instead of the last four paragraphs being about going back to the courthouse it should have been him going back to his hotel. for a more concise ending to a chapter not a start to something that should be in next chapter.
This needs to stop author. Constantly making Cliffhangers to entice readers to come back to read is a terrible strategy. Overusing Cliffhangers makes it seem that your work is constantly unfinished. This chapter should have ended in his hotel room not back at Court.
Am I the only one that vehemently dislike Cliffhangers? I do understand that as a writing tactic. Cliffhangers incentivize the audience to return to see how the characters resolve the dilemma. Though I believe that it has been seriously overused, to the point where four stories that I'm am reading, all ended on a cliffhanger today and it makes me feel that the stories are incomplete. As if the author gave us half chapters. Angry moment aside I do enjoy this author's work. (Please do less cliffhangers.)🙏
Ok this is a good Idea that completely slipped my mind.
Look here dear author, I was just confused. We have a MC that is suppose to have the highest IQ ever. One who never forgets. How, earlier in the story knows the location of two good martial artists in America and in Brazil. Ones that I have never heard of. So it's just baffling how the MC forgot about the Lazarus Pit.
I thought he kept his memories? His meta knowledge? How does he not know about the Lazarus Pit? It is one of Batman's best known things.
