"its lance"? Since when does a wolf have a lance. Author probably meant "claws" or "paw" or something.
I think the author mixed stuff up here or had plans for the cavalry already existing and then changed his mind. In the next chapter it sounds more like it's just the 20 horses with people handling them, not an actual cavalry unit. It's a bit confusing.
How about giving her some food first! You can chat when she isn't on the verge of collapsing....
This chapter was utterly ridiculous. It would have been fine if this was like the first or second week at the academy, but he's been there for months! The instructor mentioned something about "most of the year". And he's basically as clueless as he was before, but unwilling to talk to anyone. He's apparently also never contacted Zen either.
Right, right. There is no way you could simply ask the INSTRUCTOR in the friggin' Academy - the place for learning. Much better to muddle through by yourself. Ridiculous.
That name, lol
300.000 in a single room? Lol...the author is pretty bad with scale. The Colosseum in Rome fit about 70.000 and that thing is more like a huge stadium. Our biggest stadiums today fit about 150.000 and those are circular. But this apparently is one auditorium in which 300.000 people face forward only? The logistics of everyone just walking inside and taking a seat boggle the mind. It would take hours. Reminds me of the city with 10 mio km² we had in chapter 3 :D
Dunno about the future, but right now Alex is a super common name. And the name in the news back then would have been "Alexander". I think it would make more sense if they heard his last name was "Gray" and then connected the dots.
Uhh...does the author not understand the meaning of "ambient"? That's like saying the temperature "plummeted" to room temperature.
Pretty interesting chapter. Makes up for some of the weirdness in the previous chapters :D
