his harry potter lore is very weak, from the start he classified them as golden trio, while hermoine was not very friendly to other two in the start. hermoine's love for quidditch is another misconception. all in all take he just took the characters and created his own version of harry potter. and he pushes his country . let's just say it's his version of his country with artistic touch

Firstly, I never said they were good people. In the original book, it's said that he was abused due to magical outbursts. They highlight it in the first book. It's like how people treated mutants in Marvel. Slave labour, please, he was a servant, and yes, he was a slave they had to bring up. please do note that potters were very rich, and there was never any mention of Dumbledore paying them. Dont know if it would make the difference but since arabella figg could be paid to live like next door, might as well have her bring harry up. Harry only needs to be close Petunia, Dumbledore who never took care of his own family was forcing them to be a family to make up his regrets. McGonagall did highlight that Dursleys were the worst muggles she saw and was against leaving Harry in their care. While they did have their faults, the crime of abusing Harry was more Dumbledore's. That's what I am saying.
