That's the way to go! Do what you are passionate about and improve upon it! One great tip that I have learned, which you probably already know, is that the best way to learn a language is by immersion. Let's say you want to learn German. Then set your TV to German, your games to German, read German books, etc. Good luck on your language journey!

The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown. When making a horror movie like this one can not show the monsters why? Because no matter what sort of monster you create, no matter how disgusting, scary or creepy it is, it will not be scarier than what our heads will think is the monster. Our brains scare us, and once we see the monster, we know it, and it can not scare us as much.

The hobbit, Forest Gump, Rambo, A game of thrones, The Shining, Cujo, Hunger games, etc. Do I need to go on? As for actual examples of changes: The hobbit- more or less all of it was changed, Forest Gump- Gump is a racist that went to space and lived in a jungle with an ape- none of that happens in the books Rambo- the guy goes on a massive murder spree and in the end kills himself- again, none of that happens in the movie he kills 1 guy A game of thrones- a TV show so things are different but still, season 7 and 8, do I need to say more? The shining- infamous by now, Jack dies in a completely different way Cujo- the boy dies in the book Hunger games- completely changed the dynamics of it, making the Revolution revolve around the main character instead of it being a thing she is just a part of, an important part, but not a crucial part I could go on but I think you get the idea.

No, not going to be harem, just one girl. I like harem stories myself but by this point, they have oversaturated the market making it impossible to pick out the good from the bad. My confidence in writing a harem too is somewhat lacking, I don't wanna get ahead of myself here, sticking to one girl seems best.
