It started out pretty good, but when one of the chat group members turns out to be a general participating in a Chinese-Japanese war…. And knowing this is a Chinese novel. You already know nothing good is going to come when these two are involved. As you’d expect it eventually devolves into praising china while also wanting to do everything to destroy japan, you know the usual. Then when a new round of chat members join half of them are from obscure chinese media. I dropped after this because i saw it as a trend to gradually turn into the usual bottom of the barrel translation. 1 more thing, when the chat room leveled up the first time it gave out free cultivation techniques…… completely destroying the individual power systems of chat members.

This is the downside of Chinese chat group novels. Obscure characters from Chinese fiction that can’t be found on the internet
