Potions would be tricky. I needed ingredients and a proper lab setup before I could do any real brewing, but I still committed the recipes to memory. Understanding ingredient interactions and brewing theory now would save me time later. Herbology was similar—I didn't have access to magical plants yet, but I could at least learn about them.

because the first 15 or so chapters are wonky from me learning how to use gpt to organize my chapters. after that it gets better as I figured it out. also one piece was just a trash smash and grab world
