Ughh yeah there's a lot to criticize about this book but even though it's bad quality, it's so far better than other similar novels. I just read another CN with same plot/system but MC is still in Village A and has a huge harem. Has not moved from that place for hundreds of chapters.

Don't tell me the Author will ship Yuncheng with Anran? Is he worthy? MC should leave this Clan already with his wife and disciple. If the Author is taking the disciple seriously, then her deeds will be no less than Shen Ruyan one day. This chapter also felt off to me. It was stated Yuncheng is calculating. It would be easy to become head position as long as he married her... Honestly, I'd prefer Shen Family since there was development there but author wrote it off as greedy relatives for no reason.

I like a righteous MC, but the way it's written here seems naive. You know this is a cultivation world right? It's cruel and getting stolen from or stealing from them is the norm. I wish he could steal some good things with his wife, add a bit of spice. Maybe disguising yourselves as sect disciples and steal treasures,etc lol

Man, I'm disappointed. I really wanted to see the process of Jiang Anran growing up. You finally created a character whose position is closest to them from everyone else. I see a lot of potential in this disciple/daughter.

These tribulation chapters are probably the best-written ones so far. Shen Ruyan felt more real than ever before. Just tranquil and active here. The previous chapters have been low quality, it's just awkward reading MC dialogue. It's a repetitive speaking of things happening in the situation, but nothing like a well-fleshed character.
