Today, I learned two things. One… there are fights I won't like, and two… if I ever have to fight another Aburame, I won't strip them naked because… doing so forced me to see how his insects crawled inside his skin, through his eyes, ears… mouth, and places no insect should EVER be.

Two months had passed since the Nine Tails incident. The scars of that terrible night were still visible throughout Konoha, with many parts of the village still in ruins. My house, thankfully, hadn't suffered as much damage as other houses around my neighborhood had. There were still things to fix, but nothing that needed immediate attention. Calmly, I moved through the rooms, broom in hand, sweeping away the dust and debris that had accumulated. Tsuki followed me, her soft purrs and gentle presence a constant comfort.

As I watched, his blade caught fire and heated up the air. The rain that struck it sizzled and evaporated. Thoros quickly sheathed the blade again, "Neat little thing, isn't it?"
