At what point is she allowing herself to be brainwashed? She can't outright disobey some of the system's setting such as no cursing or killing innocent people as it will cause her to lost points and potentially die. Instead, she tactfully manipulates certain situations where she doesn't lose points and instead gains them. Her internal turmoil over her character flaws is a legitimate concern for her as she was a demon. Demons who were known for being evil. On top of that, she was the queen of them. Her being flustered over the possibility of actually finding somebody who could love her is realistic.

everyone is hating on the system, but I think it's a good challenge. Yes, the system is annoying, but like the author stated, the MC has a way of tricking it to agree with her thinking. In my opinion, the story wouldn't be as interesting if she only had a system that completely supported her. Her violent and flippant personality comes from ruling Hell whilst the System is programmed with settings that have to do with kindness and selflessness, which is completely opposite to the MC, hence the back and forth between the two

Didn't she tell him that already though when he questioned why she received a recommendation letter from the university?
