Sword of Dawnbreaker (黎明之剑) for fantasy magitech, Holy Roman Empire for post industrial age kingdom building, I am a god in another world (我在异界种田封神) this one might not have been translated yet, but is a Faerun based Kingdom Building novel. There's the classic Release that Witch, at least three different kinds of novels which were dropped by the authors because of heavy censorship because they can be seen as a bit political would be Tales of the Reincarnated Lord, Black Iron Glory and Lord Harland, the first two of the three take a bit to enter kingdom building but take a more Laize Faire outlook to kingdom building that is a bit more organic and natural feel for how a society is built, the latter is a min max of fantasy genre kingdom building, not that high fantasy but has the nice magic stuff and monsters in it.
I'm guessing transcendental methods of cultivation can overrule the Heaven Lock? Since it is the process of becoming independent from the heavens in the first place?
It's one thing to make the MC forget to check his watch and get late for a meeting, that might make him human, making him forget to check the fuel on his only way of locomotion is making him look dumb. This shows at the very least that either the author didn't know what he was doing when creating expectations or that he deliberately made the MC slow to think, and quick to forget, both which are extremely detrimental in his position and sets up the expectations for the MCs future behavior. It's like a bungee jumping person forgetting the rope, I'm now with the expectations of endless failures ahead, and therefore lost my drive to read much further.
Dude got a trait deleter, could it make Grey traits able to exert their full power and them blowing it up against a strong enemy? The Yama one would be amazing if you could do that.
Easier to see the prettier ones on media too, at that time they would be locked away at the harem palace/ caged birds at castles and all that, heck even had to hide their faces lest they be taken away. That's even considering the fact that sub nutrition would wreck most appearances, the sun wouldn't be so kind to just give a light tan according to ones aesthetics, no dental care nor safe cosmetics as well... As long as it didn't disgust you, it was fine, mostly.
The best kind of kingdom Building, the orthodox of the orthodox on the subject, if others are just flirting with kingdom building, this one is already married and with child.
This is due to Webnovel being too cheap stake, in Qidian bigger chapters are the norm, and the price is much cheaper, in the translation they cut the chapter into 2-4 times and you pay around 5x as much... Unfortunately you need a CN cellphone number and ID to read on Qidian, so we're stuck here.
Actually this author rarely drops his novels, he has at least two finished and another which was trial for another genre but didn't pick up, but his novels about kingdom building always get finished. Translations of his novels are hard to find due to Qidian obliterating any MTLs and RAWs online because it was doing pretty good on China therefore they had greater zeal on anti piracy, unfortunately Webnovel rarely gets the good content from China on time meaning most people only read the RAWs and are not willingly to slowly pay chapter per chapter for what they already read before (my case) It's still a wait to catch up and looks like it will take at least more 500-800 chapters to catch up to were the RAWs were (hopefully it makes it there before translators give up) but as of now the update frequency is amazing if you are reading for the first time, now's the time to hop on the train and enjoy this masterwork.
I've read it up to roughly double the current chapters currently on Webnovel (Qidian chapters are huge compared to Webnovel ones) It gets better the more you read, it's Kingdom Building is rock solid, just don't expect any personal drama and shounen/adventure non-sense, the novel takes it self seriously and has little room for such braindead things (no forced marriages between nobles, because who would create such hatred for no reason?) Alliances are based on interests and reputation matters a lot, it is a masterwork on fantasy politics, economics and military, if you like those topics you will like it, if not, maybe a novel with a more light touch on such topics would be advised.
