Can’t say I’m a fan of this seemingly forced reconciliation by means of a task. They’ve still got a lot to make up for, and I feel that they’re being let off too easily. Perhaps I’m too petty a person, but to an extent I can see why they have to put aside their issues for now. Just don’t like it as it’s almost like they’re sweeping things under the rug.

Since when was she placed under an oath to not speak of what she was told? In the chapter she learned about Mei and everything else, when encoutering his parents afterward as Ren was introducing her to Mei, they kept quiet and it was stated that they wouldn’t stop her from speaking her mind as it would be her choice. Her not even being able to say anything now comes out of left field.
