I never said Charizard is a bad choice, only that there were better options.

If so, then wouldn't Volcanion be a better fit. It's a mythical Pokemon and has good attack and defences. Most importantly 2 of the Admirals in early cannon would be exceptionally weak against it. It can shield Ace from water based attacks because Volcanion is immune to them (the one most glaring weakness of devil fruit users).

Ofcourse that is true, but a Charizard at level 100 would be much better than a Rattata at level 100. That's a fact and facts don't give crap about anyone's feelings. I simply believe that it's better to give your time to Pokemon which is innately strong.

Buy a Lugia. It can traverse both the air and sea and is a great Pokemon even for battles. At least you would ride in style.

That's right. It's one of the best but in second tier. I the first tier I'd put Reshiram, Heatran, Volcarona or Blaziken( mostly for its mega). All four of them are bests in their own right when it comes to attack.
