Very boring. The amount of information repeated every n chapters is at least n^2. MC is not an enjoyable character to read. 20 chapters have just been a repeat of the same content. Went from telling at first, to showing the very same things.

Its a mash of genre's. IMO, its a fine read, the issue is pace. It feels like the potential content is alot, but we are slowly chugging along. The problem is that things might get repetitive and boring, for both the reader and author. I like how the plot is the primary focus.

Wish fulfillment is all I could think of by chapter 2. I chugged along for as long as I could, which was chapter 7. Its bad and the fact that this won something just makes it all the more depressing. Wish fulfillment should explain enough, MC is not only a creator of the anime which he is in, but also has a system. And then immediately gets god-tier stuff given to him. I fail to understand how anything in this novel will make sense within the confines of the novel itself. Not to mention the action scene. The power system is useless. Chinese novels typically have MC win fights against someone within a few "minor" stages within the realm, just to not make the power system completely useless at the start.

The first 300 are great. The characters peak during the first arc. The story was most enjoyable during these chapters. After 300 and until the timeskip, the new harem members are captured the same way. Be forceful, "r", they fall in love, gg. Lots of tell, don't show. Lots of fights that just feel far too long. It does start shifting after the cultivation jump from mortal to immortal. By this point though, the original charm is long gone. It just feels mundane.

If you like smut, you're fine, start reading if you want. My personal problem is too much PLOT. The plot is moving painfully slow. It is picking up in the recent chapters or else I was planning on dropping it.

It's fine. I'm sure many people will enjoy it in there own way. The problem I have is the MC. Personally not a fan of him basically being OP. No tension in the story at all. Not to mention the martial spirit. It just feels like a wish-fulfillment novel. It's just a fine casual read.

Great. A bit sad I have read the novel that clearly heavily influences this. Which does greatly reduce how unique this would've felt to read. Luckily, I'm enjoy the deviations this novel brings.

Damn good. 5/5 honestly too early to tell from what I read. Just impressed by the progress. Most astonishingly the romance isn't just, I see you, I love you now. Truly the exception amongst novels, particularly cultivation novels.

Frustrating read. Info dumps. They aren't necessary. Its a superficial way of adding background. I say that since the impact of that knowledge is none. It's a detriment to the narrative since the flow of the story is interrupted seemingly every paragraph for a random tidbit of info. Some novels have auxiliary chapters for power scales, levels, etc. I prefer the novels that include the information, as it becomes "necessary" to know. Rather than the author saying, this is all important stuff, here is a whole chapter for info that will serve you nothing. Here is a block of text about a random aspect of the world that doesn't matter at all. The notes act as if all readers have 0 IQ. Both info dumps and author's. The author's notes are intrusive. Random comments in the text, or just at the end of text. They sometimes are simple and harmless like, "memorable visit indeed". Its just pointless to add. Other notes are defensive notes, as if to defend against readers saying why MC is being reckless, or something else. MC goes potion crafting, fear not, we have very necessary info dumps about alchemy to explain things. Author note talks about how MC has shadow guards following him all the time. Next chapter, he is interacting with them. The note is pointless if we can read about these things. I've got other problems but just these 2 make the novel a plodding read.

Its just the usual chinese wuxia story. I'm a bit exhausted of thousand year old beings getting giddy and showing interest in the MC for no particular reason. Love at first site, or through some bonding that lasted less than 0.01% of her life, not my cup of tea.
