Does Adam need the academy arc? Can’t he just create ‘make stronk’ items and ‘awaking go up’ items? Don’t forget the ‘make me skilled at *insert any skill*’ items or the ‘gib knowledge and experience about *insert whatever knowledge/experience you can think of*’ items? Adam is there to play hooky, if he takes classes there. He could have made the Deathnote, asked his grandmother for all the names of the Blackthorn family and, boom, family of enemies gone. If he can create ‘anything’ without limitations, then he could have been more tactical in how he uses his powers, but he went for the low-hanging fruits.
