Being a little generous since this seems to be the first non-fan-fiction by the author. The Good: I like that it doesn't try to be anything more than it is, just a pure male-driven smut story. The cover is also a nice choice. The bad: Short chapters means short sex scenes. Asking for stuff at the end of every chapter is a huge turn-off too. (Especially annoying if you use the audiobook function.) The sex scenes themselves aren't bad, but they lack imagery to draw you in and make you feel like you can see it. This would also be solved with longer chapters. The Neutral: Keep it up, by straying away from fan-fic you can finally build your own complete cast of characters. Most of us have a certain trope we like and there is nothing wrong with using tropes. If you do use tropes, just give them enough substance to stand up without a crutch.
The Good: Good effort on the author, especially for a first novel, keep it up! Sadly, that's about all that is good. The Bad: - Many, many mistakes grammatically. While not completely mind-numbing, it causes everyone to stop momentarily and break immersion. - The characters are quite shallow, part of this can be blamed on the first-person point of view though. - The skills and stats are a little overkill at times. - Starting off in 3rd person and then switching to 1st person was quite awkward. Staying in 1st person and constantly forcing us to break away from immersion with the huge lists was also painful. First-person is meant to be used to create an intimate relationship between the narrator and the reader. - This screams adult content, but it only teases it. I personally am also not a fan of incest and simping on one's own sister makes me cringe. - MC is overpowered, nothing wrong with that, but it needs to be done better in this case. The Neutral: - LGBQT is fine, but why is it used in this? I feel like it is a plot crutch in this novel. Something that is sorta helping hold up the plot, but would be better off with a stronger plot overall. - I do love skills and lists of skills, but go easy on them sometimes. We're not going to remember all of them, nor even try to if the lists get too long. - Have fun with the story. Instead of a typical truck-kun death, I would go the extra mile. Like maybe say he was about to go on vacation with his girlfriend, as they were about to take off, she confessed to cheating on him, he panics, runs out of his seat, pushes the flight attendant out of the way, opens the door, ejects the emergency slide and jumps down it. He hits the slide the wrong way, bounces and then gets sucked into the jet engine... something silly and unbelievable.
Thank you for the chapter, Ma'am!
MCs product?
It's about Count Agist and Lillica, but that doesn't mean that they are exclusively together. I explain more about what Lillica is after a little bit later. He knows what is going on, and saying they slept with the knights is a little extreme since Lorraina only sleeps with the 2 brothers and Lillica "helps" Morgan. Lillica makes it clear to Morgan that her help is just that and nothing more and even talks to Count Agist about it in Chapter 18 (If I remember correctly) I do agree that the world is a little hard to understand since we only ever experience 3 named locations, The Count's estate, Farmington, and Flint, as of the first volume. (Yes, we are briefly introduced to the capital in the last chapter of volume 1 and another no-named village, but its name isn't important.) I should probably try and give the world a brief overview then since we only some vague locations to go on.
I've hinted already that Isadora isn't a virgin, but I haven't said how she lost it. Honestly, I've been thinking about changing what I had planned originally because everyone seems to want happy stories nowadays. Also, he never defiles her, just absorbs the energy she gives off through her pain and merely touches her ankle. (Next chapter might make it up to you)
Feel free to claim all of them... unless one has already been claimed.
No, everyone gets with everyone. Lorraina is very... open about her sexuality so she sleeps around much more than Lillica. Lillica only uses it as a means to an end and makes sure that Agist knows about it when she does it with anyone she doesn't kill. I attempt to do girl-on-girl, but I admit that since I am a guy, my experience with that is lacking.
No problem, I lost track of where I was so I was re-reading portions of it and thought it was strange that twins would have different ages.
