Actually this should be the third fanfiction of DB from the author first being Dragon Ball: Legend of Ayaka, Secondly The Strongest Legend of Dragon Ball and now this book Dragon Ball God Mu. First book was kinda bad since it was a power trip with MC both being a saiyan, immortal and having instant transmission. Second book was kinda better with MC being a saiyan and also having instant transmission. But this third one is the best since we can actually see MC trying hard to get stronger and after 2 books author has way better grasp of the world of DB
