Yeah, but those barbarians invented Coke, rifles, cars, bicycles, and tanks. The bad guys are either countrymen or evil types (undead, witches, etc)
A 5 year old, running "wobbly"?? Kids are pretty stable on their feet by that age.
When did he buy an exquisite white jade bottle? At the herb market?
Isn't pharmacist the closest analog?
Why? If it's work related, my background is programming, starting on Sun Workstations. It's just that at that contract with the IBM server, everyone else had a PC background. So part of my contract was manging the AIX server. It was mainly shutting it down for weekends when the building maintenance required it and starting it up on Monday morning and bringing up the Oracle database and any other software that didn't have a daemon for start up.
Why is he on the ground? He was running away and the spell missed him.
Yeah, in an earlier paragraph, it said that when he crossed over, it was already inside the host's body. (It actually says, "[] it was already inside him," which is a bit misleading, as I took it to mean it came with him until I read this paragraph.
Yeah... I've given up providing feedback to authors on this site/app. It's too exhausting. So many writers cling to every little detail and defend every word like it was gold. One author told me that using "costed" was correct, (as in "That item costed $10 yesterday,") *because they saw it on the internet.* (Turns out it in business-speak it means 'to have done a cost evaluation of a project', as in "We costed that project last week.") Learn something new all the time. Mind you, I also learned that one author's use of the word 'nutriment' was valid and correct. It's just, well, no one uses it. Anyway, thanks for the backup.
WTF? She calls her brother "Mr. Temple"???
Lol, what nonsense! You can make paper out of any plant that has cellulose, which is what makes stems rigid. Trees are actually an expensive and toxic way to make paper, ecologically.
