Moria has the power to steal the shadows from people and these people can't go out during the day because without shadows they will die if they get exposed to the sun. Moria is a villain, don't try to portray as someone good. Who cares if he is good to his people?

I didn't like this chapter. All his reasons for killing these unrelated people are bullshit. There is no justice killing people who did nothing to you, he could just call the marines and have them go to prison. This is a pokemon story not a Batman story that he needs to play the vigilante. Killing people that harm his pokemon I am all for it but the killing in this chapter was forced and unnecessary. I hope he won't end up acting like an edgelord like so many main characters in fanfics!
