If they clear the nightmare Cassy could probably edit his memories as a saint.
It seems that the whole city was fleeing into the future, only the youngest surviving.
So, if the minds of the creatures were not erased, there is a chance that we get to see Verne again?
The story is interesting and I even like the Characters. Grammar is good as well. Unfortunately the plot development feels inconsistent with the world as it is painted. Recruits are killed during an exam against bots, when there is absolutely no need for them to die. A military base on Mars is attacked for hours on end without Reinforcement from anywhere while the whole planet is supposedly a major military hub. During the attack Recruits lead the defence instead of their Instructors etc.. Physics in space also makes no sense with a maximum speed dependent on the engine (below light speed). There could be reasons for all those things, but if there are, they are never explained. Essentially thinks happen for the story, but make no sense.
So mind reading works again on her?
Sorry but I can not believe that he would not even try to request a VIP extraction or something like that. Sure plot makes it obvious that she will heal on her own and save them later, but still.
Will he leave it with somebody in the trial (past) to accomplish some mission and retrieve it outside in the current time?
The notation is just a bit weird. His base stat increased by 0.01 and additionally the 1% Buff is active, which is however not changing the base stat.
I believe the +54% do not denote the attribute increase, but are instead an additional passive multiplier.
That reminds me of the game/riddle that he played. Well done, I did not see it coming. Scary that Cassie was the one that answered correctly. Maybe she just solved the riddle. Or maybe she saw it in the future.
