Editor's note 1: In the MTL and many other copy paste 'translator' versions (I '…' translator because let's face it, all these people are just copy pasting the MTL with minor and infrequent edits here and there), I see many comparisons about S.H.I.E.L.D and something called SPEAR (???). I found out that SPEAR is actually like a Chinese version of SHIELD in Earth-616. Huh, you learn something new every day. Anyways, since this whole setting is in the MCU, it felt weird to have that sudden out-of-pocket comparison between SHIELD and SPEAR and also the whole MC being a part of SPEAR. So, I just removed it entirely and added my own two cents of how I think this scene in particular should have played out. Like I mean there was a long ass saga in the original MTL about how it would be hard to find Luke and blah blah Chinese idioms and blah blah. Hope I at least made it bearable for the general audience out there! And if I have, maybe can I get some cookies! Hey, I'm still here. I absolutely love the comedic side of this novel but I highly suggest you explore the slow-life genre as a filler chapters. You can even write a drama scene if you want. Don't restrict yourself with a genre just because you put it in the tags. Anyways, I greatly enjoy your fanfic and I hope you can get out of the slump.

Author, in my opinion, this is a bad move. Unless you greatly alter their own world, it would be dumb if they experience the same hardship they went through. For example, Rias, if she can't capitalize on the gift given to her and went through the same events as in canon, then it is not their fault, it is your fault as that would simply be copy-pasting with an extra character which is hardly considered a fanfic but plagiarism.

He can now devour souls and absorb their stats through killing. The drawback to this skill is great. No food could satisfy him the moment he started eating (killing). The more he devours souls, the more hungry he gets. And when he has hunger pangs, his body will become stronger. The moment he doesn't satisfy his hunger, he will go berserk and kill everyone indiscriminately until he is satiated once again. The biggest drawback to this skill is that the moment he tried killing stronger enemies, no amount of weaklings can satisfy the skill anymore. If he can't find stronger enemies, then he better kill himself because this skill can wipe out an entire planet the moment he goes berserk in search of food. For me, this is one of the worst skill even though it's completely OP. the cons are just too much.
