It's been a long time now, but from what I can remember when the ML tried to find out where the MC had gone off to, he did it by threatening her friends and cancelling a business deal her workplace almost signed, effectively cornering small business that was struggling to survive. Trying to find the MC was OK, but involving her friends and work and bullying them just because he can was just an a**hole move.
I read up to ch400+... I'll be very honest and say that this is a Mary Sue novel. The female lead is beautiful, with hidden skills, unimaginable wealth, powerful background, overprotective brother whom each qualifies as an OP male lead, and everyone who meets her eventually gets charmed and starts admiring her. Her only 'flaw' so far was that she's dense when it comes to romance, but even that wasn't treated as a flaw, more of an adorable side to her. Having said that, it's not a bad Mary Sue novel. The female lead doesn't parade around what she has and she's not arrogant, which goes a long way towards making her likable. Unlike other Mary Sue novels I read she also doesn't ruin someone's life just because they offended her or something... because that role was left to her overprotective brothers. So yes, she's not 'vicious' because her brothers cover that angle. She also has skills she can't do... because her brothers cover that area. On the upside, it's a relaxing wish fulfilment read with lavish description of cooking and food, and romance moving at a snail pace. Unfortunately update seems to have stopped at 140+, so in an odd way it's good that I haven't spent that many reading tickets on this series...
