Things will be cleared up a bit soon about what's happening. I miss the villain monologues too everything is so much easier that way lol

Hmmm... that's a tricky one to answer as the story is sort of about the mc figuring out the type of person he is and who he'd like to be. A trained killer. A loyal soldier. A sentimental person. A man with a sense of duty. A man that struggles to find his own moral boundaries and constantly weighs those with his ambition and obligation. I don't know if it that all comes through in reality, I'm biased to say so, but that's what I am for when writing, and something I'd say I've gotten better at the longer I've been writing PoA.

Hmmm... I wish I could say I spent weeks or months plotting it out and thinking about it, I'm sure if I had, the beginning wouldn't be so... lacking. But honestly, I started chapter one on the most spontanious whim possible. Just started typing and tying in some ideas I had floating about in my head. Since starting PoA, I've been constantly thinking about settings and plots for two other possible stories, one of which im confident will turn out far far higher quality given a lot of time to write it all. As a consequence though, where PoA has 250k~ words published and has taught me a lot, my second story is about 13k~ words written and barely beggining. if you're interested in writing and dont have a lot of experience, I say give yourself a week or two to think on plot, characters, and setting, and then force yourself to just start. If you put out a few chapters each week, even if your quality dips sometimes, it forces you to keep writing and keep learning.

That same thought is why I started PoA. Looking back, all I can say is goddamn I underestimated this stuff. It's a lot of fun and I'd recommend giving it a shot if you're interested in writing, but definitely not as simple as I expected.

Yeah, the beginning requires some suspension of disbelief for sure, bad choices in the start still haunt me now. As for the rest, I'll try to keep that in mind as I write, thanks :)
