I was a big fan of this author back then now I know better. Every novel he creates are just carbon copy with different starting setting leading up to exact same premise later on. For some reason he really like hulking giant MC with brute force.

Mc is pragmatic, there is no romance, the novel is probably about power pursuing for no reason, and since its a wizard novel its has rank too I suppose. This is standard 101 CN wizard/sorcerer novel. CN novelist are incapable of writing anything fresh.
