Golden dragon nation seems to have only recently started that elites program, theyre still playing catch up. Those guys had multiple Monarch ranks it looked like. Probably someone of similar of higher rank opening the portals from the other side.

It’s probably not possible to consume an initial demon. The jump between levels gets really big, so they’re likely on completely different levels. However it would incredible if Nick managed it.
