Zuko x reader

Y/n was 5 when her parents were killed in a horrific accident her parents were drowned in debt wich they passed onto her she was taken by fire nation gaurds to the palace and brought before fire lord azulon . he talked to ozai asking him what he should do with the child

"make her a slave"

Azulon yelled wafting his hand at her y/n stood there chains wrapped around her wrist and tears dripping down her face azula and zuko walked near y/n she flinched away y/n was not much older than they were she had cuts all over her skin and a lighting strike down her neck and her eyes glowed a yellow amber zuko was entranced , y/n looked up to azulon and twistd her hands he suddenly bent backward and cracked his body in all ways azula noticed this instantly

"ITS THE GIRL FARTHER SHES BLOOD BENDING HIM"

azula yelled ozai kicked the girl to the side and into a column knocking her unconcious zuko was about to run over when ozai put a hand infront of him azulon got up and pointed a finger at her gaurds rushed over picked her up and dragged her too the cells.

everyday azulon and his family all except zukos mother would come and beat y/n every day too pay off her familys deabt everytime ozai would whip her then azulon then azula then zuko , zuko was always hesitent when he did it like he was trying not to hurt her but still ,did this went on for a 3 months but on this special day y/ns life would change.

y/n was sitting in her cell and looking up at the moon her arms were chained up and seperated so she couldnt bend the only comfort she had was a window that shone the moons reflecting on her the door slowly creaked open as a nervous prince zuko stepped into her chamber y/n looked at him in disgust

"hey zuko here"

y/n scowled and spat at him

"i know you cant speak english i want to help you"

zuko let her chains go y/n jumped and pinned him to the wall and her heated up slolwy then she stopped and let him go and sat on the floor cross legged and he sat infront of her

"i am zuko"

"i am y/n"

"good"

he smiled these lesson continued for a year

Y/n every evening zuko would sneak out and go to the tower to teach y/n before he knew it she was speaking as well as he was eventually his mother found out about the lessons she was happy and would come with him sometimes and teach y/n how to control her fire bending and zuko helped to but tonight zuko walked into the cell timidly y/n looked up happy to see him again

"Zuko hey are you alright"

He unchained her and sat Infront of her

" hey what's up are you ok"

Y/n asked confused he suddenly started smirking and smiled and looked up at her y/n shiver him gently

"You scared me"

"Hahah but here I don't know your birthday but it's officialy been one year since you've been at the palace I wanted to give you something"

Zuko handed her a cupcake with a red candle on top y/n lit it with her finger as zuko sang happy birthday to her y/n blew it out and hugged him then she split the cup cake and they both ate it zuko hugged her and put something around her neck it was a gold necklace with a small fire charm made out of brimstone he smiled at her and showed her a ring he had with the same fire charm maid out of brimstone with that he chained her up and left,

30 minutes later her door opened again y/n looked up and smiled and her smile slowly turned to fear as she saw Azula at the door she looked down and said nothing

" it's ok y/n I know my dear brother has been visiting you I'm not mad infact it seems all your debt is paid off and you can go free"

Two gaurds stepped in and unchained her she rubbed her wrist and looked at her confused azula handed her some clothes a long off the spaghetti strap red dress with ivy print in it that went down to her knees in red of course and red boots and a red cloak with a fire nation symbol on it. Y/n got dressed and walked out with azula she got to the court yard with azula when she heard screaming, y/n flicked her hair around and saw a woman crying that

"Lord azulon had been killed and it's was nowhere to be seen"

Azula suddenly grabbed both of y/n's arms behind her back

"IT WAS Y/N SHE ESCAPED AND KILLED HIM"

azula yelled y/n was shocked and tried resisting when she saw zuko look out of his window and saw her struggle y/n knew what she had to do she mouthed the word good bye to zuko and bent her knees and flipped over Azula grabbing her arms and shoving her to the. Ground then she ran to the shore and saw a small fire nation boat as she jumped on to it and turned it on she was hit in the back of the head and knocked out she lay on the boat lifeless as she drifted father and father away fro m the fire nation falling into a deep sleep.

Y/n drifted across the seas all while being unconscious her boat finally stopped and she was flung off of it and landed on what seemed like an island made of ice she was still knocked out and landed face first on the floor two figures walked towards her wearing all blue clothing they pointed a bat at her she didn't move then two adults came and picked her up and carried her to a tent and tended to her wounds and she lived among the water tribe for years after that
