Zombie Apocalypse: Gaming System

Everything was a mess. The streets were filled with blood and dried corps were laying on the ground. Some Cars were broken, while others were completely fine.

Screams were constantly coming from the city streets. Those who had managed to live were now desperately trying to escape and run away. Some were so desperate, that they left their family members, wife, or children behind to rot away.

Men who swore to protect their wives and children were now running for their lives. Forgetting their Family. There was only one thing in their heads.

'I have to run away.'

They thought of nothing but survival while their wife and children were getting eaten alive.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH." A scream was heard as a young woman fell to the ground with a loud thud.

The closest Zombie near the woman went after the unguarded woman.

"NO!" The woman's husband got in front of his wife protectively and was bitten by the Zombie instead.

A loud scream left the man's mouth as Zombie continued to bite and eat away his flesh.

Fresh blood began to ooze out from the man's shoulder as he let out another painful scream.

"YUKIKO!!!" The woman cried out in shock with tears streaming down her face.

"RUN!"The man let out in a weak voice.

"PLEASE!" He spoke desperately again while noticing how she was frozen still.

The woman stood up with trembling knees as she took a few steps back.

'I... I HAVE TO SURVIVE..... FOR YUHIKO'S SAKE!'

The woman then ran away while crying loudly for her dear husband.

Just then, a robotic voice started to come from the speakers that were placed in the city.

"This is an urgent message! The special team unit has officially been dispatched. There is help coming on your way so please, everyone, try to survive till the team gets there. Stay in your house. I repeat. STAY INSIDE YOUR HOUSE."

The message then stopped leaving everyone silent.

In a small house, a little far away from the street the woman and her husband were in, a young man with light purple hair and blue eyes was standing and looking out the window with a frown.

"They said that the special team unit is dispatched... but where are they going to go? Will they go to the other city or ours first?"

The humans already knew that there was no hope for survival, yet, they clenched onto it. Hoping that everything was just a dream or some miracle to happen.

Yet, none did.

Till now, all humans did was suffer from the loss of family or friends.

There was no miracle.

There was no hope.

There was just suffering.

Atleast, that's what some people thought.

"Thank goodness I brought a 5-day meal yesterday." The young man sighed in relief while glancing at the kitchen door.

This young man was Jordan Blade. He had been an orphan so he didn't care about others who were desperately trying to run away or about worrying for someone's safety.

He had been bullied throughout his school and high-school life, so he didn't have any friends either. Jordan was glad of that now. Because if he had any friends or family members that were out to shop or some normal walk while the Apocolypse broke out, he would only worry about their safety.

In his opinion, it would have been troublesome. Then later on, if they didn't return, grief will also take over him.

These were the exact reasons he hated to have friends. It was also not like someone was going to be his friend out of the blue.

As he glanced back out of the window, he noticed something strange. The blue sky was now turning pitch black. There was no eerie feeling coming off of it but it was strange.

"HUMANS ON EARTH!!!

A large voice suddenly boomed from the sky. It was large enough to grab everyone's attention. Also, just as the voice spoke, all the Zombies had stopped moving.

It was strange.

One minute there were thousands of zombies trying to attack the humans and the next, they were frozen solid.

It helped some escape from a dire situation and run away while thanking the mysterious voice that started talking again.

"The god of evil has sent one of his weak minions to destroy the earth. The gods can not help you by coming over to the earth, but we can help you by giving small powers to destroy the weak soldier of the god of evil. It is up to you humans to either save the earth from disaster or get killed by the minion and rest in peace."

"Note only those who are between the age of 15 and 50 will be given powers. If you save the earth, those powers will be with you forever. To get your power, you have to kill one zombie first. There are wristbands on your hand. They have a special function that only the wearer can use. But other humans can also take away your things after stealing your wristband so please protect it!"

"After killing a Zombie there is a 50% chance of dropping a crystal. Also, the higher the level of the Zombie, the higher chance of dropping the crystal. After taking the Crystal in your hand you will get a notification from the wristband asking you if you want to absorb it. Taking the crystal will make your powers stronger and your strength to rise. The crystal will also take away your impurities."

"The other information will be given by your wristband system... The power hunt starts... NOW!"
