Yu•Gi•Oh Arc-V: The Numbers Story

"I attack you with my Ultimate Dragonic Utopia Ray!" I shouted as I watched my friend LP drop to zero. We were dueling to see who's favourite archetype was better. He chose Galaxy-Eyes, an I chose Utopia.

"Hey, you just got lucky, I bet I could beat you if we did it again!" My friend said, with a look of determination on his face.

"Josh, this is the fourth time you said that. It's two to four. I'm clearly right." I said with a sigh.

"Aww, [ ], don't be such a spoilsport! We can keep going! Besides, today's your day off right? So you have nothing better to do!" Josh said.

Badump.

Suddenly, I felt weak. Something wasn't right. my vision started flickering.

Badump.

I felt cold and drowsy.

Badump.

My head started hurting.

Badump.

Maybe if I go to sleep it will feel better...

"[ ]? [ ]! This isn't funny! Stop i-"

That was the last this I heard as I fell asleep. But before I could fully become unconscious, I heard a another voice...

"Before you go... Take this."

Waking up with a start, I shook my head. This was the thirty-ninth time I had this dream in a row, and now I know what it means. I had reincarnated. But my past life wasn't... exactly me. It was like watching a movie, you know? It wouldn't affect me much. After all, it was a different lifetime. A more pressing matter was...

'This is f**king Yugioh Zexal isn't it.'

Don't misunderstand me, Yugioh Zexal is a great show, but being in it? That wouldn't be very safe, not with the war between astral and barian world. The number cards, I could only hope not to get. The main cast? avoid at all costs. But, with my luck and according to my memories... 'He' is one of them.

"Oiii! Yumi! Wake up! Breakfast!" Shouted a voice that I was all to familiar with, in both this life and my past, Reginald 'Shark' Kastle. On of the biggest plot points in Zexal, obtaining multiple numbers, being Yuma's friend, AND he was a barian too. And I was living with him.

According to my previous life's memories, Shark lived in an orphanage for the early years of his life with his sister. He died in a car accident, along with Rio Kastle, his sister. Then, his body was possessed by Nash and his sister with Marin. Rio then was sent into a coma after a duel with Quattro.

But with MY memories, Shark, Rio, AND I we siblings. We now live in the same house after leaving the orphanage together, Rio never went into a coma and none of us got into a car crash.

Something's wrong, I can feel it.

"YUMI! Do you want your breakfast or not? I'm going to eat it if you don't!" Shouted Shark from downstairs.

I decided to leave the thought at the back of my head, put my school clothes on, grabbed my deck, and went downstairs.

Also, funny thing. Apparently, my name literally means ocean. My deck is a bunch of boxing magicians while both my siblings use water decks. Sure, my name fits the theme ofy siblings, but why Gagaga? Out of everything, Gagaga.

At school, I went to my class in the 'spade branch', ( When did they have that?!?). Unfortunately, Rio and Shark were in the clover branch, so I wasn't with them. Oh well.

Then, I saw something I shouldn't have. Crazy hair on somebody that I knew wasn't in the main cast; a boy with black and purple hair, another boy with turquoise and black hair, and a girl with dark purple hair. Those hair colours are way to flashy for them to be a background character, and I don't remember them from the anime, but they seemed familiar...

"Alright people! Get into your seats! Time for role call!"

It was finally the duel period, which is basically a second PE but with card games. I saw the purple hair walking around looking of someone to duel, so I walked up to him.

"Hey! You! Purple hair! Duel me!" I shouted.

"But my name's Yuto..."

Yuto POV

Walking around, a girl approached me. she had beautiful blue hair with green outlines, eyes as deep as the ocean, an a perfectly cute face. She wore a necklace that had two protrusions on both sides, a green jewel at the top, and at the bottom it was triangular. She seemed like the quiet type, the kind to be nice to everybody and read alot.

'No! Bad Yuto! You like Lulu! You can't be distracted by other girls!'

"My name is Yumi, and I WANT TO DUEL YOU!" The girl shouted, destroy the quiet image I had in mind.

"Alright, I accept." Since I was still waiting for Shay and Lulu, might as well kill some time dueling.

" "DUEL!" "
