At this instant, bella, who was checking the gown, went and slapped the maid really hard, shocking everyone.

" Why are you hitting her? It was an accident. Let's just fire her no need to get violent. "

Leo interjected and looked at the maid, then said, "Get lost."

"Stop right there, i asked you why did you do it? Don't try to give me that lame excuse that it got ripped accidently when you did it on purpose." Bellas words shocked all who were present.

"No madam plz i didn't do it on purpose it was the nail."

The maid still wanted to make excuses, but when she saw the sarcastic smile on bellas face, she stopped and started crying hard.

"Bella, are you sure she did it on purpose?"

" yeah C i m sure.you can check the cctvs."

"Go nd bring the cctv footage" old master smith ordered after 5 minutes they were all looking at the cctv footage which clearly showed that the maid found the nail in the mannequin and put the dress on it on purpose then she pulled it hard and got the dress all ripped.

"Slap" claire slapped the maid hard

"Stop dont dirty your hands,"

bella hugged claire to calm her down, then she looked at leo

" i m sure you guys can handle it from here, right?"

"Yeah, leave her to us,"

"C, if you are really adamant about wearing this gown, i can do some alterations to it,"

hearing this claires eyes lit up

"What can u do? howells girl?do you even know how to hold a needle? Because i m pretty sure ur lowly life mother wouldn't have been able to teach you that, so stop spouting nonsense. "

old master smith finally found his chance to vent his anger

"Grandpa," claire cried

"it's alright," bella knew why old master smith was being so harsh to her aftrall she had rejected none other than james hunt his precious grandson, so she said firmly

"Since C, i mean claire wants me to repair it, i will do it no matter what."

her eyes shone with determination

"Also if by any chance i couldn't do it i will willingly accept any punishment you will deem fit for me so plz old master smith give me a chance i really don't want to see her sad on her big day."

She bowed humbly. Claires eyes watered up seeing that her friend was trying so hard for her happiness, so she also bowed and shouted

"plz grandpa i trust Bell more than anything, and I know about her abilities, so please give her a chance."

old master smith couldn't understand how could his naive granddaughter trusts someone so much?

Also, what was all that sincerity he saw in howells girl eyes. Seeing two bowed heads, he sighed and said

In the hall, everyone was waiting for the brides arrival. Some people even started gossiping

On the stage, Luke was pacing right to left

" How can i calm down, i was already quite nervous, bt now I'm even more worried.what if bella couldn't fix it?"

Everyone was stunned by claire. She looked stunning. The gown that she had before was mermaid style.now, bella had altered it into a-line gown, which suited claires body and made it more prominent.

It looked so magnificent and classy than the gown before that no 1 could tell that it was altered.

Old master smith and the others who knew about the gown were totally baffled. "How could this be? How is that howell girl so talented?"

Old master hunt eyes shone with pride, " so i wasn't wrong when i found something special in that girl."

"Old smith, now you have seen it too. She is a gem, but not just any kind of gem she is a diamond."

The paparazzi started snapping the brides photo as she walked down the aisle with leo.

When no one was paying attention, a girl in the facemask silently joined the other bride maids.

As she looked up to see claire, her eyes met a pair of intense eyes looking at her. There it was again her heart started thumping loudly as it gonna jump out of its place. She couldn't breathe anymore.
