Kate was lying in bed holding the jade bracelet that Ciel had given her after he returned to the academy. Staring at the rich emerald-green bracelet in her hand gave Kate a calming feeling. After she had her fill, she returned the bracelet onto her wrist and confronted her other half within their mindscape.

'Stella, are you hiding something from me?' Kate asked.

[Hiding? What could I possibly hide from you?] Stella replied.

Kate became silent as she tried to construct the proper words inside her mind.

'I'm not really smart, but I have a feeling that you and Ciel are able to communicate with each other using mere glances.'

[Yes. You're right. Darling and I are able to communicate with each other.]

'I knew it! Tell me, how do you do it?'

[Simple, the two of us are a match made in heaven.]
