Yong-Rae, a formidable dragon deity, safeguarded the land of Korea for centuries, aided by souls willingly sacrificed to become his disciples. However, his life was tragically lost in a fierce battle against the most formidable demon. Yong-Rae loses his life but is reincarnated with a new identity as a civilian in the new Korea, accompanied by his disciple Jiyeon. Along their journey, they encounter Kwon Eun-Ji, a cafe worker who discovers Yong-Rae's true identity.
