What the hell?! Did Oden never tell them what a devil fruit is like he told me... 5 years ago? I guess he hasn't judging from Kin'emon's reaction. Then again, what can I expect from that irresponsible dumbass.

5 years ago when I got my dark magic back, Oden was supposed to give my family an explanation, but he left after chatting with mom and I got into a crapload of trouble later with dad.

Mom didn't mind much since she saw I was okay with not being able to swim, but dad was in hysterics. The two of them are some of the few people who knew what devil fruits are since they met with Roger and Whitebeard many years ago.

And Kenji... Well, things didn't all go well in these five years.

In any case, here I am, sparring with Kin'emon, the strongest of Oden's retainers.

"*huff huff* FOXFIRE STYLE: BLAZE REND!!"

WHAT THE HELL!?! I CAN'T HANDLE THAT ONE!!!

"[BLACK HOLE]!!!"

"WHAT THE HELL YOU DAMN FOSSIL?!? YOU TAKIN LAST NIGHT'S EPISODE OUT ON ME?!?!"

"TH- THAT WAS J- JUST-"

Last night Kin'emon got kicked out of his house in front of me and the other Red Scabbards, by his wife Otsuru-san cuz he got drunk and got closer than he was supposed to.

I wish she'd tossed all his luggage out too. How in the name of Arkhos does she tolerate this shit??

Oh yeah.

Speaking of Arkhos, this is a name I hear almost every single day now. Every time I sleep, I keep hearing one damn thing.

"Release me... RELEASE ME!!!"

It's the same shit I heard when I ate the damn fruit. Am I gonna regret getting my dark magic back? Hell no. Some Arkhos guy isn't enough to make me regret shit.

I am a handsome, generous, cool, and powerful 8 year old after all. I'm way~ stronger than my fellow 8 year olds. Heck I'm even stronger than Kenji.

Though there's one of them who I still can't beat. It's this girl I made friends with while roaming around the forest this one day.

Her name is Yamato. She's definitely fun to be with. She's also easy to get along with since she doesn't bullshit around. She's pretty too. Then again that might just be that damn author being a biased son of a *censored*, cuz I'm not the kind of guy who thinks people are pretty.

She's ridiculously strong for an 8 year old, but who am I to talk? The people around have been saying I'm almost as strong (with df) as Oden was as a kid. Anything works as long as I can split a wave by swinging my arms around.

I finally feel like I'm back to being myself now, cuz I can crush people's heads now. Since I roam around with Oden and his samurai, I have a lot of experience with crime fighting, not that I didn't in my previous life, but fighting in this new body is different from the past me in more ways than one.

My current strength is as much as a mountain bandit leader. I don't exactly compare to any of Oden's retainers other than the Dog, Cat, and Okiku, but I'm pretty sure even Denjiro has a hard time thinking what my next move is, because of my current fighting style.

It's a very confusing style. I can make swords with my power so I've used it to make many types. And I use them to mix up my fighting style.

Though I had to learn a lot of blacksmithing first cuz even if I can use my powers to make swords, since they have no base, they're entirely dependent on how much power I have and so they're pretty flimsy.

And I don't know how to properly shape them either since I don't have enough control of my power.

But one thing I realized a while ago was that my former dark magic and this devil fruit power are different in a number of ways. This power, it has no limit. My own dark magic depended entirely on my mana capacity and since I didn't have much (but more than commoners), I was made to limit the usage of my magic.

I was significantly nerfed in Black Clover, don't ya think Author san?

(A/N: I agree wholeheartedly. Yami's dark magic had an infinite amount of potential since it is a primordial power. Dark. A very wide term. His power even extended into spatial magic, with moves like black hole and dimension slash. He could probably do the black flash from jujutsu kaisen if he had more magic. Yami was nerfed af because of his magic capacity. He still used it efficiently though and he was probably the most powerful captain after Mareoleona. Just goes to show what a chad the guy is).

See? The shitty weeb writing my dialogues agrees too. I hope I won't be nerfed here since there's nothing like magic capacity involved with devil fruits.

In any case, like I said I said before, my fighting style is confusing for my enemies cuz I keep switching swords and the sword style along with it. I copied Asta's swords and made the Demon Slayer and Demon Dweller swords.

Right now, I can also use basic armament haki along with a good level of observation haki. Oden's more than just some old coot, he's actually a better teacher than you'd think. And he was serious about training me. So serious in fact that the dumbass wouldn't let me take a dump four times a day.

But because of his persistence, I punch harder than grown men. Then there's also my special move that I use against any man who bullshits me.

"[BLOODLINE... EXTINCTION!!!]"

Yelling out the name of my trump card, I uppercut Kin'emon's manhood all the way to space.

"HAAAaaaa... "

*Ding*

And just like that, Kin'emon was down for today. And his would be down for...quite a while... Sorry dude but you should be careful who you bullshit with. It's good advice, you guys should get it into your heads too, you, yeah you readers. Don't bullshit with the wrong people.

(A/N: Okay Yami that's enough breaking the fourth wall for a few chapters, I'm running out of flex tape).

Another weird thing happening with me is that my recent dreams with this Arkhos guy has more contents than the regular, "RELEASE ME". Now I see stuff too. A man in a prison. A bleak, broken picture of a man in a prison, saying RELEASE ME over and over, and mentioning something about helping... Joyboy? Who's that? Gotta ask Oden.

"Kin-san, that's the sixth time this month you've fallen victim to Yami's special move, why not learn from mistakes?"

"Who're you kidding Denjiro, he's obviously not going to learn anything, he's always doing dumb things".

"Sh.. Shut.. Up A- Ashu... ra," wailed Kin'emon with the fire of a samurai barely keeping him alive.

"Four eyes, Fatty, you guys seen the big lug around?" I asked.

"BRAT WHO DOES NOT KNOW THE IMMENSITY OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, YOU DARE CALL ODEN-SAMA A BIG LUG?!? COURTING DEATH!!!" screamed Ashura.

"Um Fatty, I never said anything about Oden, you're the one who said I called Oden an ugly lug for no reason. Does that mean you're trying to call Oden a dumb troll and a big ugly lug? Tch tch, how disappointed he'd be if he heard his retainers calling him a complete musclebrained ogre".

"WH- WHAT!! I, I NEVER SAID THAT!!!"

"Fatty, oh Fatty, how treacherous. Calling his own Lord names," continued Kawamatsu following my lead. Great job Seaweed, I'm proud of how much you've learned from me.

(A/N: Kawamatsu was a pretty awkward guy before, but spending 5 years with Yami has turned him into something close to Magna of the Black Bulls... How the mighty have fallen. Then again, who wouldn't lose some brain cells dealing with Yami, though Kin'emon definitely lost a lot more).

"Oiii," another brat appeared.

"Yami, are you bullying father's retainers!?"

"Listen Oden jr. I didn't bully anyone, I was just sparring with the guy who got kicked out of his house last night and fatso came and started calling Oden names".

Denjiro was shaking his head in exasperation. He was probably exhausted from the others' antics. Definitely not from me passing the time screwing with people. End of...
