When it comes to movies and anime, I generally dislike dubs and will always pick the sub variant. Dubbing is the act of replacing the original audio of a video with a translated version that's understandable for the target audience.
Subbing is basically just adding subtitles. Dubs are oftentimes inaccurate as they need to pick words that are in sync with the movement of the character's.
There are however a few exceptions. Ghost Stories is definitely one of them. It's an anime where the dub is just perfect. Just watch episode 1 and you will understand exactly why.
I would consider that the golden standard for any dubs.
