The Green Giant

With a giant rushing towards Winifred with superhuman speed, the giant suddenly came very close to her.

"Ha… I can't even make it to the forest. I don't know if I can escape from that monster. No… I have to—"

Suddenly, she remembered what her mother had told her."Wini! Remember, never give up, okay!"

"Ah… Ahhhhhh!"Remembering her mother's previous words, Winifred yelled.

Because of her mother's words, she gained confidence and started running towards the forest, using every bit of energy in her body.

Winifred was now very close to the forest.

"I can make it. I just need to find a hiding spot where the monster can't see me."

The green giant, realizing that Winifred was trying to enter the forest, stopped for a moment and then threw the melee weapon in his hand towards her.

Winifred was so close to the forest that she couldn't understand the monster's exact position. She tried to take a quick look back at the monster. She saw him standing on the ground, preparing to throw something in her direction.

"What! No, it can't be!"

With incredible speed, the melee weapon landed near her leg.

Suddenly, there was a loud "BOOM!"

The impact of the melee weapon threw Winifred to the ground.

"Ah…hhh!" Winifred yelled.

Lying on the ground, Winifred cried out "It hurts! Ahhh… it hurts!"

Winifred started crying; the pain was too much. She looked toward the forest—it was so close. She tried to look back and saw a giant wooden weapon, like a baseball bat, lying on the ground. It was the weapon the monster had thrown at her. She looked towards the monster again and saw him. The giant was walking toward her, knowing she couldn't move now.

"What a… a bad day!"

She started to remember again.

"Remember, never give up, Wini!"Winifred's mother

"Ah…"

Winifred tried to stand up, moving her leg."Ahhhh!" she yelled loudly.

Winifred tried to look at her leg, where the pain was coming from. She saw that it was shattered into pieces. Her left foot was completely broken. Blood was everywhere, and she couldn't even see what remained of her foot—it was all covered in blood.

Winifred was in shock. The pain was too much, but she still tried to see where the monster was.

She saw the green giant coming towards her with an arrogant smile on his face.

After seeing her shattered foot and the monster coming closer, Winifred, feeling the pain, looked toward the forest she had been running to.

"So… close!"

"Tha… Thaa… thaaa… monstrous steps"

Slowly, the sound of the monster's footsteps grew louder and louder.

Hearing the footsteps growing louder, Winifred body started shaking.

"I give up, Mom!"Winifred exclaimed, accepting her defeat as she realized she couldn't do anything

Winifred, filled with fear knowing that the monster was going to kill her and she was going to die, Knowing she was going to die and the pain she was feeling because of her shattered foot, Winifred started crying.
