Next Jian Feng quickly dug out the hearts out of the corpses, A few of them were crushed by the tentacles, while the remaining were stored by him.He moved towards the corpse of the Purple earth centipede before storing it.He was scaning his surroundings with his investigative ability he noticed that couple of demon beasts were heading towards this place.

He used his 3 meter long tentacles to wrap around the crippled assassin's body carrying him and began to run backwards towards the inner area of the mountains.

After running for around 10-15minutes he found a safe place.He dropped the crippled assassin's body down.He used his hand to grab the assassin by his hair as he dragged his body towards a huge stone.

Jian Feng looked at him coldly,The assassin was in so much pain and he had also lost lot of his blood, he was almost on the verge of fainting.

Jian Feng took out some herbs and a bowl from his storage bag,Then mixed the herb's in a crude manner and then he took out a single heart which he had stored earlier.He crushed the heart into a mush before mixing it into the bowl containing herb paste, he began to mix it, after some time he drank half of it before applying the remaining half on the assassins wounds directly.

This was a medicinal recipe which he studied in his previous life.His wounds would heal in 20-30 minutes.However as for the assassin it can only help to stop his bleeding.

Jiang Feng then meditated for 20 minutes before moving towards the assassin.He put his hand on assassin head ignoring the assassins fearful and pleading eyes as he began to search his soul.The assassin wanted to scream from the inhumane pain of having his soul searched but he didn't even that right. His mouth was stuffed with his own cut off limb.

After getting what he wanted he crushed the assassin's head without any sympathy.He then dug his heart and stored it.He took the money on assassin for himself.Then he continued to move towards his destination.

Night had already fallen,he decided to spend the night here and move in the morning.

During his time in the mountain, he would occasionally kill demon beasts and take thier core, he couldn't store their bodies as they space in the storage pouch was limited.Times when his luck was good he would come across rare herbs, he collected them all.

After 4 more days he was finally out of the mountains.

"There is a small town nearby, I should head over there for the time being." Jian Feng looked at the map that he had gotten in the Sun city.

Jian Feng began to move forward again, without taking a look back.
