Lili First Day

Dove smiled reassuringly. "That's okay, Lili. We'll train you. We'll help you develop your powers and learn how to use them effectively... Also, I'll introduce you to them this late afternoon after they get back from school."

"They're still high schoolers?" Lili asked, surprised.

"Xian and IM are, yes. Now, go take a shower, and then we'll head to my company," Dove instructed, a warm smile on her face.

Arriving at WRA Company, Lili couldn't believe her eyes. The towering building seemed to pierce the sky, a symbol of power and success. They entered the lobby, where everyone greeted Dove warmly, acknowledging her position as the CEO. Lili followed closely behind, a sense of awe and nervousness mingling within her. They stepped into the elevator, ascending to the 20th floor.

The elevator doors slid open, revealing a spacious, modern office space. Sleek desks, comfortable chairs, and large windows offering panoramic views of the city created an atmosphere of both productivity and luxury. Employees moved about purposefully, their faces reflecting a sense of dedication and passion for their work.

Dove led Lili to her private office, a haven of tranquility amidst the bustling company. The walls were adorned with awards and certificates, testaments to Dove's achievements and the success of WRA Company. A large mahogany desk dominated the center of the room, its surface impeccably organized.

"Please, have a seat," Dove gestured towards a plush armchair opposite her desk.

Lili sat down, her eyes still wide with wonder. "This is... incredible," she breathed, taking in the luxurious surroundings.

Dove chuckled softly. "It's nothing compared to what the Seers have," she remarked, a hint of bitterness in her voice. "But it's enough for us to operate comfortably and make a difference in the world."

She leaned back in her chair, her expression turning serious. "Lili, I want you to understand that joining us is a big decision. It's not just about fighting the Seers. It's about standing up for what's right, protecting the innocent, and using your powers to make the world a better place."

Lili nodded, her resolve hardening. "I understand," she said, her voice firm. "I want to help. I want to be a hero."

Dove smiled, a sense of pride and hope filling her eyes. "Welcome to the team, Lili. We're glad to have you."

Creak! The door opened.

Both Dove and Lili looked towards the entrance, where Yolan stood, slightly out of breath with a towel draped over her shoulder, evidently having just returned from a jog.

"Oh, you're the one Xian and IM saved," Yolan said, walking closer to Lili.

Lili, having been unconscious during the rescue, didn't recognize her. "Y-Yeah...?" she responded hesitantly.

"This is Yolan," Dove explained. "She's the one who drove you here. She's also the girl in the commercial video."

So that girl is... the hero she showed me...? Lili thought, recalling the video on Dove's phone.

Yolan extended a hand towards Lili, a friendly smile on her face. "Nice to finally meet you, Lili. I'm glad you're safe."

Lili cautiously shook Yolan's hand, still a bit overwhelmed by the situation. "Thank you," she said softly. "For saving me."

"It was nothing," Yolan replied with a shrug. "We're all in this together now."

Dove cleared her throat, drawing their attention back to the matter at hand. "So, Lili, since you're part of our team now... tell me about the Seers you worked with."

Lili took a deep breath, her expression turning serious. "The Seers... they're a secretive and powerful organization. They've been around for centuries, manipulating events from the shadows, always seeking to gain more power and control."

"What kind of powers do they have?" Yolan asked, her curiosity piqued.

"It varies," Lili explained. "Some have the ability to see the future, others can control the elements, and some even possess the power to manipulate minds."

"Mind control?" Irune gasped. "That's terrifying."

Lili nodded. "It is. That's how they keep us in line. They implant suggestions and commands into our minds, making us obey their every whim."

"But you broke free," Dove said, her voice filled with admiration. "How did you manage to resist their control?"

Lili hesitated, a flicker of pain crossing her eyes. "It wasn't easy. I had to fight against their influence every step of the way. But I couldn't stand by and watch them hurt innocent people anymore."

"You're brave, Lili," Yolan said, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We're glad you're on our side now."

Lili smiled weakly. "Thank you. I hope I can be of help."

Dove nodded. "I'm sure you will be. Now, tell us everything you know about the Unveil Commission. Who's their leader? What are their plans?"

Lili took a deep breath, ready to share everything she knew. The fight against the Seers was far from over, but with Lili's help, they had a fighting chance.

"The Unveil Commission was created for both of us... me and my friend named Elang. He's a strong guy with elemental powers; he can control fire..." Lili began, her voice still hesitant.

"Ah, that one. Yeah, I remember the news about the idol concert, right?" Dove asked, recalling the incident.

Lili nodded. "As for the leader, his name is Sam... he's my boss. His power is called WB, or Weave Beat..."

"Weave Beat?" Dove questioned, his brow furrowing in thought. "That sounds familiar."

"It's a powerful ability," Lili explained, her voice laced with a hint of fear. "It allows him to control the rhythm of the world, to manipulate the very fabric of reality."

"Control the rhythm of the world?" Yolan repeated, her eyes widening in surprise. "That sounds incredibly dangerous."

Lili nodded. "It is. He can use it to cause earthquakes, disrupt electronic devices, and even... stop hearts."

"Hmm... that is really dangerous, your boss... but don't worry, we have Xian," Dove shrugged, a confident smile playing on her lips.

"Also... I forgot, which one is Xian...?" Lili asked, a sheepish look on her face.

"If you're asking which one Xian is... he's the boy with the pretty face and long hair," Dove explained.

Long hair... ah, that guy with wind power, right? Lili thought, recalling the scene at the concert.

"The one with wind power?" she asked.

Yolan and Dove shook their heads.

"His power is more than that," Dove said.

"His power is imagination manifestation," Yolan added, her voice filled with awe.

Lili's eyes widened in disbelief. "Imagination manifestation? You mean he can create anything he imagines?"

Dove nodded. "Pretty much. He's still learning to control it, but his potential is limitless."

"That's incredible," Lili breathed, her admiration for Xian growing. "No wonder he was able to defeat Elang."

"And IM is no slouch either," Yolan chimed in. "He can phase through objects and manipulate shadows. He's a master of stealth and surprise attacks."

Lili nodded, impressed. "You guys are a formidable team."

"We're just getting started," Dove said, her voice filled with determination. "With your help, we'll be even stronger."

Lili straightened her shoulders, a newfound confidence in her eyes. "I'm ready to do my part," she declared. "I want to help you take down the Seers."

Dove smiled. "That's the spirit, Lili. Welcome to the team."

As the afternoon sun began to set, casting long shadows across the cityscape, a new alliance was formed. A group of young people, bound by their shared heritage and their desire to protect the world from the darkness.

It was now late afternoon. IM and I arrived at the office to find a larger group than usual: Dove, Yolan, Aca, Irune, and Vill were all present.

"What's happening? Why did you suddenly call us?" I asked Dove.

"To welcome your new teammate," she replied with a smile.

Don't tell me... Lili is actually joining us... I thought, a mix of surprise and curiosity swirling within me.

"Yolan! Bring her in!" Dove called out.

Yolan left the room and returned a moment later, accompanied by a familiar figure. Lili stood hesitantly in the doorway, her eyes darting nervously between the assembled group. She was no longer wearing her Unveil Commission uniform, instead opting for a simple jeans and a t-shirt combo that somehow still managed to accentuate her graceful figure.

"Everyone," Dove announced, her voice filled with warmth and enthusiasm, "I'd like you all to meet Lili. She's joining our team."

A chorus of greetings filled the room, each member welcoming Lili with a smile and a wave. Irune, in particular, seemed especially excited, bouncing on her toes and clapping her hands.

"Yay! A new friend!" she exclaimed, rushing forward to give Lili a hug.

Lili, startled by the sudden display of affection, hesitantly returned the embrace.

IM stepped forward, his masked face concealing his expression. "Welcome to the team, Lili," he said, his voice surprisingly gentle.

Lili looked at him, a flicker of recognition in her eyes. "You're... the one who fought Elang," she said softly.

IM nodded. "That's me. And you're the one who saved me from that guardian spirit."

A faint blush crept onto Lili's cheeks. "I... I just couldn't let him hurt you," she mumbled, her gaze falling to the floor.

"Well, we're glad you did," I said, stepping forward and offering her a friendly smile. "Welcome to the Unveiled."

Lili's eyes met mine, and for a moment, a flicker of uncertainty crossed her face. But then, she smiled back, a genuine smile that reached her eyes. "Thank you," she said, her voice filled with newfound hope. "I'm glad to be here."
