First Day as Human

I thought, well... this is fancy for a place like this... I mean this government place but... I looked around, still with my invisible body.

Looking at the table, I saw a nametag.

Hmm... this is interesting. I picked up the nametag and read the name aloud, "Senator Thomas Carter."

Never heard of him... but I guess he's a powerful person here?

"Haha yeah, but I should keep the people up," a person said, entering the room. An old man with glasses came inside.

Sure enough, he won't see me while I use my power. I backed away and leaned against the wall, making sure he didn't bump into me.

The old man shuffled around the room, adjusting the blinds, straightening the chairs, and dusting the table. He then sat down at the computer and began typing.

As he worked, I used my power to peek into his mind. I saw images of bank accounts overflowing with money, secret offshore accounts, and politicians being bribed. The old man was clearly involved in some serious corruption.

I watched him for a while longer, gathering information, before finally deciding on a plan. I would expose his crimes, but I would do it in a way that would protect the innocent and minimize the damage to the system.

With that in mind, I left the room and continued my exploration. I knew that there were more people involved in the corruption, more secrets waiting to be uncovered. And I was determined to bring them all to light.

The House of Representatives was a bustling hive of activity. Politicians, aides, and lobbyists were everywhere, engaged in a constant dance of power and influence. I moved through the crowds, my invisible form granting me access to places others could only dream of.

I watched as deals were made, favors exchanged, and secrets whispered. I saw the inner workings of the political machine, the way it was manipulated and controlled by a small group of powerful individuals.

Just then, a loud voice erupted from the crowd.

"The leader is here!" they said.

Hearing that, I knew I should go to the leader's room. With my imagination manifestation, I was able to determine its location.

I walked to the quiet place, opened the door, and quickly closed it behind me. I found myself in a large, opulent room, the leader's office.

Walking closer to the table, I saw the name, "Pu Rany." That's the name.

Sitting on the chair, I thought I would wait for them to come here.

My invisible gone... I imagined, and my invisibility faded, leaving me sitting alone on the chair.

The room was silent, save for the faint hum of the air conditioning. I sat in the chair, my heart pounding in my chest. I knew that this was a dangerous game I was playing, but I was determined to see it through.

Ah, I think I should cover my face... I thought and began thinking of what I should cover.

Imagine... that my face was blurry, cannot be seen by other people.

After what felt like an eternity, I heard footsteps approaching. I looked up and saw Pu Rany, the leader of the corrupt government, entering the room.

He was an imposing figure, with a stern expression and piercing eyes. He walked over to the table and sat down, his gaze fixed on me.

"Who are you?" he demanded.

I hesitated for a moment, gathering my courage. Then, I spoke.

"I am here to expose your crimes, Mr. Rany," I said, my voice steady. "I know everything you've done."

Pressing a button on my wristwatch, I summoned a gun. I only showed it off and looked at the watch.

"Security!" he yelled.

"Oh, don't worry. I won't kill you. Take a chill."

"Who are you!" he yelled again.

I got up from the chair and pointed my gun at the computer machine below. "A guy who will change the entire world."

Bang! The bullet came out and destroyed the computer hardware.

I reloaded my gun and pointed it at Pu Rany. "You and your corrupt government have caused enough suffering. It's time for change."

Pu Rany's face was pale with fear. He tried to reach for a button on his desk, but I raised my gun to stop him.

"Don't even think about it," I said. "This is over."

Just then, I heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Security guards were rushing into the room, their guns drawn.

"Drop your weapon!" they shouted.

Even though I could fight everyone, I would let myself remain mysterious. Walking to the window, I started to open it.

"Don't run away!" the security shouted, running towards me.

With that, I jumped outside.

"Hey!" the security ran to the window, looked below, but didn't see anyone fall.

Instead, I had imagined teleporting to the roof. Now here I was, standing on the roof...

"I should go back and tell my family..." With that, I disappeared from there and teleported to my bedroom.

Arriving in my bedroom, I saw IM there. He was sweaty somehow. "Why are you sweating?" I asked him.

"Just finished taking a basket with the people around here. They seem nice," IM replied.

"Hmm..."

I sat on the bed, and my blanket started to walk around, revealing Kuro, the harbinger cat.

"Are you okay there?" I asked Kuro.

Kuro just nodded. "A little rest."

Kuro curled up into a ball at the foot of the bed, his eyes closed in contentment. IM sat down beside me, his expression serious.

"How's the government you terrorized?" IM asked.

"Hmm... surprisingly the leader was on time when I was there. Well... I should say it was beginning..." I replied, remembering earlier.

"Well, Xian, you did right, just tell Dove and the others in the group."

I nodded and took my phone from the table. I didn't bring it when I went to that place, so it would be crucial.

Opening my phone, I started typing in the 'Unveiled Family Group'.

[Me: I made the first move]

I sent.

[Dove: Nice? What did you do?]

[Me: I just scared the leader of the House of Representatives with a gun.]

[Yolan: The gun that I made?]

[Me: Yep.]

[Lili: Xian really gonna fight the government...]

[Me: I would say fix the government with my own power.]

[Dove: Come to the company at night like usual, just today we're not going to be superheroes, instead, it's a meeting.]

"Meeting, geez..." IM groaned.

I looked at IM. "Even Harbinger doesn't like a meeting?" I teased him.

"Not my fault that I evolved into a human because you're too strong."
