The history of vampires' creation

It was finally day, which means that vampires are sleeping by now.

I took this as a chance to have a look around. First, I thought I was the only one awake, but I was surprised by the fact that there are some vampires who can face the sun without getting burnt. Well. it seems that the stories roaming around were not totally true, and I got to search for the untold truth by myself.

I spent the entire day roaming from one room to another until I found myself in an immense library, the exact thing I need right now. I gather as many as I could from books, but not any kind of books, the one that talks about the vampires' history and creation, the war between species, also a book of curses, and another one that describes Lycans as the number one enemy for vampires. I took all these books to my room and locked myself while reading. The first book I started with was called '' The history of vampires' creation'' by Kieran Orlok. The book describes the beginning of our kind, the vampires kind.

Well, it says that the only creature that can create a vampire is another vampire. Vampires don't spread by birth - guess I'm just an exception, though I'm not a hundred percent vampire. And if this leads to something, it's going to be that the origins of a vampire were from the beginning a single vampire 'Ambrogio'.

The book says that the first vampire was an Italian man named Ambrogio, this one was cursed by Apollo himself. Since Apollo was enraged by the fact that Ambrogio did come to his temple and take one of his maidens away. Not just any simple maiden, but the one Apollo has grown to like on, the beautiful Selene herself. As a result, Apollo cursed Ambrogio and made him weak and vulnerable against the sun.

Yet Ambrogio did not cower up and went on to make a deal with Hades and mess with the underworld.

In exchange for the protection of him and his lover, he shall bring the silver bow of Artemis, which caused him to be cursed again by another goddess. This time he becomes vulnerable against silver, and since he failed to complete his deal with Hades, he got his soul locked in the underground.

Which caused Artemis to have pity on this poor lover, and gifted him for the first time after all the curses he received with many gifts.

First: The bite - Ambrogio was able to transfer his abilities through his saliva by biting the person he wants to change.

Second: Speed and strength - He becomes super strong, also incredibly fast.

Third: High Senses - He was enchanted with extraordinary senses that allowed him to see, hear, smell, and taste better than any other normal human.

Fourth: the Immortality - When Ambrogio failed Hades' task, he was punished by losing his soul in the underworld. Instead of dying, Ambrogio became an undead immortal, making him a living corpse without a soul.

Last but not least: All Ambrogio turned vampires were gifted but special gifts. The most wanted one is the 'shield', those who are gifted with the shield can walk through the sunlight, without being affected by Apollo's curse. That explained why Elijah and the vampires' guard were walking under the sun without being burned into ashes.

It also mentions some of the famous vampires such as Vlad Tepes or what everyone likes to call Dracula, the Countess Elizabeth Bathory, Mercy Brown, Arnold Paole, Peter Plogojowitz, Richard Trenton Chase, and others.

I didn't notice time passing until a knock on the door got me out of guard. '' Come in '' I shout ''

You don't have to scream you know, I can even hear the beat of your hearts how about a whisper from you.'' exclaimed Elijah, and I was dumbfounded for a while

'' Did you just knock on the door'' I asked, and he laughed '' And this is all you noticed so far?'' '' Yeah, you never knocked, neither walk from the door.

I used to see getting in and out of the window.'' I pointed at the window I was talking about, and I noticed that Elijah shocked his head in disappointment. '' It's night, which means you have to meet my squad and start your training. It's going to be your first night training ...'' I cut him off '' Oh my god, I forgot. What should I do now, I didn't even take a rest.''

As I was talking Elijah noticed the book between my hands '' The history of vampires' creation'' by Kieran Orlok - It's an interesting book, though I hate to entrapped your reading session, but I will'' he took the book from my hands, then announce '' But I have to, and you have to change and get ready for training'' his tone was way too different from the one he used to use while speaking to me, this one was cold and terrifying, and yeas it hell terrified me.
