Liam's point of view:
"You … How dare you?" I shouted at him "This is too much for revenge." I didn't know she was your mate."
He chuckled before he says "You can have her if you want, I don't care about her no more... I only want my thrown … BROTHER!"
….
My world was turned up site round, the moment he called me brother, the way he spelled the exact brother word was full of hatred.
All those times we laughed together, we cried together, fought by the same side. All these times and everything were all fake. I don't know how or how to feel. But for sure, it all started making sense to me. "It was you all the time … you! The funny thing is that I've always loved you as a brother. Now that you're my real brother, I can say that I still feel the same." I told him honestly.
"That must've broken my heart, I suppose?" He asked sarcastically.
"If you are a half of the man you're pretending to be, you would have to fight like a real man … Not to hide behind witches," I shout at him while expecting that my words provoke him even a bit, but it seemed that I didn't.
"No, I like where I am standing by now. You see… I'm up, while you're chained and down on your knees" He said, and I started screaming…
If I only was free… If only these chains did not have vervain on, I swear to god I would've make death seem like a heaven to him. I would've made him pay for his unworthy trust.
Lost in my revenge promises I was till he spoke again.
"The only reason you're alive because so far is that you will help us to have Elisabeth back here. After she dies, I'll make sure that you die too so that you can join your beloved one."
He said while throwing venom out of his dirty mouth, what I did was screaming and threatening him by ending his life if he lay a hand on her, and I meant every thread.
The coward then started attacking me, he was punching, kicking, and trying to put me in pain and in each and every possible way.
He is a coward, he can't afford to fight like a real man, he's only fighting when he knows that I can't fight back.
......….
Elisabeth's point of view:
After planning and planning, we end up deciding that the best way to win is to attack. Well, that was before meeting Elijah and the squad. Luckily we met him before getting ourselves into trouble.
At first, he wondered what I was doing back in New Orleans. So I told him about my special gift, the one that gave me the ability to see throw anyone's memories by only drinking their blood. So he understood that I was only here to save them all.
He also told us everything that happened … They get to New Orleans to save me, and after that, I went missing. With the help of Sebil, they organized an attack to save me but since I already escaped - they and Lycans went through separate ways. This means that both of Liam and Logan are safe. Though I believe that Elijah wouldn't lie at me, but deep inside I was feeling that something was wrong, and for sure it's not a good thing.
The next thing to do was to keep away from New Orleans for both of me and Evanora until the moon blood is over, so our next direction would be the vampire's palace.
While waiting for the night so that we can move, I tried to find out from my brother's mate if it's possible for her to break the spell that's linking us together. Unfortunately, she said that she can't. It's a high-level magic to her, and that only a strong witch like Sebil or her grandmother can do.
I was also surprised to know about the nature of the relation between her and Sebil, She is Sebil's niece. She also told me that she grows up without a mother, which kinda reminds me of myself … And that both of her and Sebil were raised by her grandmother – Agatha.
After spending a while talking to her, I still end up not getting over the uncomfortable feeling I was feeling since I met the guys. It was like if I was on fire, like if something wrong was about to happen.
For some unknown reasons, I decide on asking Evanora if she's feeling the same as me, or if I'm just being extra again. Surprisingly, she was feeling the same as me.
While talking, a weird feeling runs over my body. It was as if I was feeling asleep, which is a weird thing. I mean. Since I turned to the hybrid I am, I've never felt asleep even after spending days without sleeping.
And before I lost consciousness, I've noticed that Evanora lost it before me. I tried to fight over my exhausted self, but I ended up losing the battle, so I closed my eyes.
When my eyes were open I found myself surrounded by witches, Evanora was by my side, so I asked her. "What's happening? Where are we?"
She took my hand then she started explaining, "We're still at the house we were in…" Before she could finish, I cut her off "I don't think so!"
She then interrupted me with the purpose of finishing what she was saying. "Yes, we are, it's only our souls who are here, not our bodies… We witches, can connect with others that we don't know where to find through their dreams, but it doesn't reveal their locations … It's more like dream… a real dream."
"Okay… I get the dream part." I told her, "but still can't get what you mean by describing the dream as a real one…"
"The real dream part means that whatever happens in here will happen to us in the real life." She explained, but her explanation did nothing but to freak me out.
"It means that we're not safe, is that what you mean?" I asked her, and she answered me.
"Technically… Yeah… But don't worry, we're safe now." She tried to calm me down, but it wasn't working.
"We're two, and there are too many of witches. It's their field, so they can easily defy both of us over here … Beside if we died here, we'll die in the real-life… So how you do exactly defined the world safe in your vocabulary miss Evanora?" I was no longer speaking, but instead, I was shouting.
She squeezed on my hand in purpose to quiet me up, then she said and a low voice.
"They still need us alive for the sacrifice, sacrifices are not accepted only in real life." She explained with a smile on her face just as if she was telling some good news.
"It's either you're dumb, or I'm just too extra … I think you're dumb. You're telling me that we're safe because they won't kill us now, but they will in the real life, is that so?" I asked her, and she rolled her eyes.
"Only if they catch us, which is not going to happen of course." She explained, and I finally saw why she was not freaking out like me.
Lost in our discussion we was that we didn't notice Agatha's entry. She was standing at the head of the witches' circle while they were chanting.
Par la lune et par la nuit, que la maudite perde sa vie … (By the moon, by the night the cursed one shall die)
Par la lune et par la nuit, que la maudite perde sa vie … (By the moon, by the night the cursed one shall die)
Par la lune et par la nuit, que la maudite perde sa vie… (By the moon, by the night the cursed one shall die)
Par la lune et par la nuit, que la maudite perde sa vie… (By the moon, by the night the cursed one shall die)
Par la lune et par la nuit, que la maudite perde sa vie… (By the moon, by the night the cursed one shall die)
As they were chanting, I and Evanora we're standing in the middle of the circle holding hands. The moment they stopped, an unbearable pain started running all over my head.
And in a while, I was no longer at the same place as Evanora. I was now in the middle of a cell. In front of me was my mate, Liam. He was chained in chains, and it seemed as if someone was trying to kill him.
He was full of bruises, blood was all over his body, and he was half unconscious. The way he was looking was very painful to my heart - and without knowing, I found tears running out of my eyes.
I tried to hurry myself over him to free him out, but my hand passed throw him like if I was a ghost by his side.
I breathed in out as a sign of relief and I told myself "It's just a dream…"
Unexpectedly, Agatha's voice cut me off " It's not just a dream …"
