The lackeys did want to take these shards after hearing what Elder Tian said, but they didn't dare come forward since they could see the look on Elder Tian's face.

They were afraid of what Elder Tian would do if they actually came forward to take these Law Shards from me.

I could see the looks on their faces and the way that they kept peeking at Elder Tian, so I stood up for them. They were my people after all, so of course I would stand up for them.

I looked at Elder Tian and said, "These are my possessions, so what I do with them is my choice, right? Instead of bothering my business, doesn't the elder have more important things to do?"

Elder Tian revealed a very strange look when he heard this.

He opened and closed his mouth a few times, but he wasn't able to say a thing in the end.

After all, there was nothing that he could do to refute it.

But the rational part of him just couldn't stand seeing Lin Fan waste these heavenly treasures like this.

Elder Tian revealed a shocked look as if he had been caught when I asked him this.

He opened and closed his mouth a few times as he stammered, "I, this, no, it's not like that…"

He wasn't able to form a complete sentence, but the complicated look that was on Elder Tian's face was more than enough to show what he was thinking.

He was indeed moved by this and even considered taking these Law Shards from him, but…there was a small part of him that was against it.

After all, the more that they took from Lin Fan, the more that they would be in debt to him in the end.

I was surprised to see this disappointed look, so I asked, "Elder, is something wrong?"

Elder Tian hesitated for a bit before asking, "Are these all of the Law Shards that you have?"

I was a bit confused when I heard this, but I gave a slow nod in response.

Elder Tian looked a bit more disappointed, but he just shook his head to show that it didn't matter before saying, "None of these Law Shards suit me. I have a lightning cultivation technique, so I'm more partial towards lightning laws."

My face lit up the moment that I heard this before I said, "Is that all?"

Elder Tian revealed a confused look, but he slowly gave a nod.

Seeing this, I said, "Just give me a minute, I'll be right back."

Elder Tian was even more confused when he heard this, but he still gave a nod in response.

I ran back into the house without a single care and then pulled up the system panel.

I went right into the daily store and started searching for something.

It was a good thing that there was a search function in the store which made it easy for me to find what I was looking for.

Without hesitation, I maxed out on this item and bought all of the stock that was in the daily store.

After receiving the item, I ran back out again and went up to Elder Tian to say, "How many do you need?"

Elder Tian was shocked when he heard this, but he eventually said in a calm voice, "As many as you can, it's never bad to not have these things."

With a smile, I waved my hand and a pile of crystals appeared on the ground before I said, "Is this enough?"
