Silence filled the Core Realm as the massive black hole vanished suddenly leaving only a body floating within the endless darkness.

Alex opened his eyes to witness the massive devastation and the sights before him.

"What the hell happened here?" he asked himself noticing how empty the area had become. No speck of dust nor a piece of rock was found anywhere. The plaza was empty or rather was gone entirely, leaving only a heavily battered gateway floating around. More than half of which had lost its physical form turning illusionary.

Alex looked left and right and did not see any trace of Baby Face in the aftermath of the destruction wasting more time as he stepped into the gateway and disappeared from the trial realm.

"Finally he is gone "

Wood and the others thought in relief.

"How exciting! He really survived it. I'm really curious about what his future in the myriad realms would look like." Bronze said to the others.

"Unpredictable. He may as well be the destroyer as well as the saviour of the myriad realms." Gold commented calmly his mind replaying the scene of the very last moment.

It was clear at the last moment that Alex's body would be unable to withstand the sudden influx of soul essence and explode into nothingness. Destroying them and everything but the Cup of Wills in the end.

However, the black hole was suddenly sucked into Alex's body by the sigil on his forehead, expanding to engulf the entire black hole and then instantly disappearing into Alex's body vanishing entirely.

"What about us? Can we leave the Temple of Origin now?" Silver asked with excitement filling his face as he could not wait to be able to explore the vast expanses of the Myriad realms.

"No, not yet. We need to await the completion of the five trials before we can escape the temple formation. As long as the temple formation has not been turned off we would not be able to take the trial realm out of it."

"If we wait till the end of the trial won't Alex capture us as his vassals?"

"No, I don't think he can use the Cup of Wills yet. Otherwise, he would have directly taken the entire realm of Ago with him, absorbing it into the Origin treasure. So until he grows strong enough to control the Cup, we will be safe."

"Let us just keep a low profile, so once the Trial of Origins ends we can escape this prison," Gold advised his Brothers as they went towards the gateway in the distance searching for the remains of the gateway's guardian Babyface.

Meanwhile, within the temple of Origin Bright flashes of light engulfed the entire Hall of Trials Loud rumbles resembling an arousing Orchestra resounded in the inner space the scene was just fantastic as the gateway of determination seemed to be exploding with fireworks nursing with light in beautiful white flashes as though it was giving birth to its long-expected child.

Within the light, a shadowy figure walked out enshrouded in a beautiful violet haze.

Felix watched dumbfoundedly at the sight before his eyes as he saw two Alexs one walking out of the gateway and merging into the body of the other. Normally there was not much fanfare when other challengers left the trial realm. They just seemed to awaken from a long dream slightly dazed or they simply never woke up from the trial at all.

Not to mention the aura emitted from the purple-shrouded figure of Alex coming out of the gateway was so frightening he felt he would shed all his fur out of fear if the figure looked his way.

Even with all the fanfare going on the Gateway began to fade away turning into a white silhouette as though it wanted to vanish from the temple but was stopped by some force and remained as a shadow in the corner remaining unremarkable among all the prominent aura of the temple.

The purple figure merged totally into Alex's body and all the fanfare ended abruptly. Alex soon opened his eyes with a look of sudden realization on his face his memory going back to what was displayed when he examined the Cup of Wills.

[Origin Treasure]

[Name: Cup of Wills]

[State: Sealed ]

[Description: The symbol of the wills of every living creature within the Myriad realms An origin treasure of immeasurable power however there has never been anyone able to utilise it as it was sealed at birth by nine powerful seals and only a pure soul acknowledged as its master would be able to break these seals and use it to its fullest capacity.]

[Ability 1: Undying will; the will of the bearer cannot be destroyed]

[Ability 2: Sealed]

[Ability 3: Sealed]

...

[Ability 9: Sealed]

[Ability 10: Sealed]

The memories were clear as he seemed to have obtained an unrivalled primordial treasure within his soul but unfortunately, it had been sealed due to his weakness. Although he had a pure soul without any ability principle contaminating his soul nature he had only been able to unlock the first ability.

Undying will? Huh, he muttered to himself.

Memories of the tests from phase two to the traumatic phase two and the changes his soul flame went through during that period were playing out into his memory like a progress bar downloading all the memories and evolution of his soul down to his brain his soul becoming more corporeal and lighter as the barrier blocking it from manifesting its strength was slightly released.

Suddenly a blue display with a progress bar popped up in Alex's vision.

[Awakening progress 20%]

Elation appeared in his heart as it seemed from the program that it was likely that once he had completed the other trials the long-awaited awakening of his ability would occur allowing him to break through into the Grade 1 Mortal Master Realm.

Alex gathered his thoughts and looked around the hall observing the changes that had occurred as the other four gateways had reshuffled their formation once again and appeared in the four directions around the hall.

The white gateway was now as inconspicuous as a pale mural in the temple. The four gateways appeared ready to accept the next challenger. However, as Alex was about to go into the next gateway a loud voice boomed echoing within the hall.

"Congratulations, young Overlord. Indeed, I know that someone would eventually clear the trial perfectly and obtain an Origin treasure," the powerful voice said as the starlight within the hall began to gather and condense into a faceless being. However, the aura of this being was matchless eliciting feelings of reverence for all within all creation and all who beheld it.

"Who are ..."

"There is no need to fret, young one. I am but the clone left behind by one of the Temple Guards assigned to watch this hall by the Matchless Temple Lord, the creator of the Origin trials. You should be honoured to be able to participate in this trial."

For a mere shadow, you do talk a lot- Alex thought.

"Ah, youth they are so full of spirit." The shadow stared at Alex with a knowing look in its eyes. Alex gulped under the pressure.

"Well, you should not be puzzled about my presence here. As there are 108 projections of the Temple of Origin in various corners of the myriad realms, hence within this massive temple there is just a projection of a temple guard guard. After all the function of the guard is just to give recognition to the outstanding juniors here."

That shadow continued to examine Alex taking a close look at him from every corner

"Very promising. It would be a long road, but there is hope."

"In that case, let me hand over the inheritance given to me" the shadow said pointing at Alex's forehead only to drop his hand after taking a deep look into Alex's eyes as though it had beheld something unfathomable.

"I think it can wait until the other trials are done. That way the effect would be greater but I will still hand this over to you."

The shadow extended its palm towards the ceiling of the temple and a token manifested within it. Handing the token to Alex who examined it.

On one side was a temple with a massive star bursting out into a nebula with five bright light columns streaming out like comets from between the pillars of the temple and one of the light columns glowed in white light.

On the other side of the token was an ornate text spelling out the word Ago.

"This is proof you have completed the Trial of Determination. Only those who truly completed a trial at least the first phase of the trial can obtain this. And for your other questions, they will be answered after you complete the final trial."

After saying this, the shadow vanished like a wisp of smoke.
