"Hey, remember me?? I'm the boy whose boss chopped his sister to pieces!"

Ruby could never forget this face because he was the one who accompanied the huge superhero to their house that night!

After hearing this, Barnard went silent, and his heartbeat started thudding louder than it was before. He tried to say something, but all his words were muffled and Ruby couldn't make out what he was saying.

"What did you say? You were saying something just now." Ruby said as a smirk crawled out of his lips. He was enjoying this, no doubt, and he planned to make this section as long as he could.

Seeing the smirk on Ruby's face, Sweat started trailing off from Bernard's head as he thought about that night when he and his boss almost wiped out an entire family.

'I knew it. We should have chased after him and maybe all these things wouldn't be happening now!'

"Finally remembering??" Ruby muttered and he pulled out a dagger that had blue energy strips at the sides, and its tip was sharp and pointy.

For some reason, at the sight of that dagger, Barnard's survival instinct kicked in. 'If I don't do anything, I'll be dead within mere minutes. No seconds.'

Gritting his teeth, Barnard willed his sore muscles that were grabbed firmly by the shadow hands. His teeth clenched together, and with a mighty pull, he yanked himself out of the shadow clutches.

A smile cracked on his face, but the next instant, it disappeared as he noticed more and more hands popping out of the ground, ready to grab him again.

Staring at all this, Ruby's expression only darkened more with each passing second; Barnard's acts, in a way, were similar to how he had felt that night. He had also struggled like this and pleaded with watery eyes for them to spare his sister after they had raped his mom to death, but it was all futile as she died the following moment.

He could remember clearly that his mother's last words were: "Save your sister."

Staring at a modest home with no valuable or beautiful decorations, a tall man cladded in a seemingly baggy black costume with a huge coat strode towards the almost wrecked house.

He twisted the door handle, and stepped into the house without acknowledging anyone there;

Ruby, his sister, and his mom all stared at the man with fear in their eyes because of the man's menacing black mask which had two lengthened fangs sticking out of its mouth.

"who're you and what are you doing here??" Mrs. Rose, Ruby's mother, sprang up from her feet as she saw the man badge into her home.

"I just wanted to use the bathroom. Is anything wrong with that?" The man arrogantly said.

Hearing his tone, Mrs. Rose was a bit irritated, her green eyes narrowed, and from what the stranger was wearing, she could deduce that he was a supe; she wasn't wrong because there was a large Meta organization insignia on the man's left side.

After seeing that he was a supe, she didn't say much and proceeded to lead him to the bathroom; however, on their way, the man suddenly grabbed her ass and squeezed it.

"That's lovely meat you got there."

Mrs. Rose frowned as she used her slender hands to swat the man's large ones, but her hands broke instead; since the man was superhuman, even his build was hard as a rock and thus her small hands couldn't move it even an inch!

Groaning, she stared at the man whose fangs parted as if he was having fun.

"You're sure one bitch. And that's what I like about women—the stubborn ones." The man said and glanced at the roof of the house and said:

"Barnard, you can come in now. Less return the favor; his family would pay in his stead."

Soon, a figure appeared behind the woman. Wrong, the figure simply walked in when the man entered the house, but because of his invisibility, no one saw him.

Mrs. Rose's body shook as she saw the sudden appearance of the man.

'This guy's doesn't mean good. What should I do? Should I contact the super cop, but they're far away from this part of the city.'

In her thoughts, the masked man raised her face with a couple of fingers, and now she was staring directly into the ominous predator's slits.

"P-please, I will give you anything you want, please just leave my kids alone."

Normally, she was a proud woman who finds it hard to beg despite their modest life, but right now, it was her kids or pride, and she threw her pride out of the window.

"Oh, anything?" A creepy laughter soon escaped the masked man, and Barnard as they stared at the woman like a whore.

"There is one thing you could do for us." The masked man peeked at her twin pair of mountains popping out of her blouse. "You could do what all women do with their husbands. Oh, I forgot, your husband, that moron, isn't here."

Right now, Mrs. Rose didn't say or do anything and only stared at the men with pleading eyes; she was an attractive woman, she knew that, and coupled with her green eyes she could easily get any man, so she was trying to use it in this scenario.

It might seem wrong, but she didn't give a fuck to whosoever would think this is wrong because all she cared about was the safety of her two children.

'I've to do this. It's for my children after all.'

Seemingly convinced herself, she said:

"I'll do anything as long as you let my two kids go. I know whatever you're here for, it's because of my husband, and I'm willing to pay the price but please, don't take it to my children."

"Your children, huh?" The masked man nodded, but with his slits, his eyes didn't agree with his nod.

"Then, let's do it then." He wasn't specific, but Mrs. Rose wasn't a kid, so she knew what he meant.

Standing up on her feet, she dusted herself and said:

"But before we do that, you've to promise that you'd not do anything to the kids. If you give me your words I'll follow you."

The man furrowed and thought:

'This bitch. Doesn't she know that I'm the one in control here and I could do anything I want?'

Waking up from his thoughts, he gave her his word even though he knew that he'd not follow it. After all, he was here for revenge against a certain person.

"I'll not touch them, I swear." He said afterward.

"Then let's go!" She was about to lead him through a set of doors, but the other man—whose name was Barnard, and had no mask on, grabbed her hand.

"Why are you stopping me in the bathroom this way."

"We know, but that's not where my boss wants to do it." Barnard paused and stared at the door leading to the sitting room. "He wants to do it there."

"Please, I can't do it there. My kids are there, and how'll you expect me to face them again??"

To fuck naked with a man she barely knew and that too in front of her children was a big no!

'Do you think so? You'd live past today??" Barnard and the masked man couldn't help but think at the woman's words; they were here to massacre her and her kids after all.

"Wait, who gave you the right to make deals??" The masked man bellowed as hot smoke started leaking out of his mouth.

Terrified, the mother of two started stepping back, then her back bumped into the wall.

"Okay, I'll do it!"

What is shame when your life's on the line?

"Good." Both men showed a creepy smile and paced toward the woman, who was scared as hell!

Sometime later, Mrs. Rose's legs were tied wide open in front of her kids.

Ruby and his little sister, Anna, faces dropped as they saw what was happening to their mom.

"What are you doing?" Running up to the big supe, who was so tall that he couldn't see his head fully, Ruby tried to shove the man away. However, his hands only meat a rocky body.

Clenching his jaws, he shoved again, but it was *futile*, and as the masked man whacked Ruby, he spiraled through the air before crashing to the wall.

"Brother!" Tears welled out of the little girl's eyes as she scurried to meet her brother—who had loved and cared for her, but she was stopped. Above her was Barnard, who had an annoying grin on his ugly face.

"So bad little girl, that you can't become a paste. It'd have been great for my clients."

"..." Not knowing and understanding what Barnard was saying, she tried to get to her brother; however, the next moment, she was kicked in the stomach and passed out.

"Annoying kids. They're only good for paste." Barnard glanced at his boss— who was now inserting his dragon into Mrs. Rose—and he grinned.

"Now where is that boy?"

Soon, Barnard arrived at the spot where Ruby had landed, he dragged the boy out of the rubbles and made him stare at his mom as the masked man pounded on her.

His hands shaking, his nostrils flaring, Ruby tried to glance away; however, the man's grip on him was too strong. In the end, he could only close his eyes
