Synopsis

"In the fantastical world of Arkania, renowned doctor Takashi Ren finds himself unexpectedly transported from his ordinary life into the virtual realm of his favorite RPG. Eager to explore the possibilities, Takashi embraces his deepest desires as he takes on the persona of Kuragami, a mysterious figure with a white mask and hidden intentions. In Arkania, Takashi joins a guild dedicated to championing justice and doing good. Under the guise of a dedicated doctor, he tends to the wounded and earns the trust of his guildmates. But unbeknownst to them, Takashi secretly plots schemes and manipulates events from the shadows, relishing in his newfound freedom to embrace his villainous fantasies. As Takashi delves deeper into his dual existence, the lines between his identities blur, and the game of cat and mouse begins. The hero's guild becomes suspicious of the mysterious figure named Kuragami, sensing that something is amiss. The guild's skilled members embark on a mission to uncover Kuragami's true identity and thwart his plans. Driven by his insatiable thirst for power and the thrill of outsmarting his adversaries, Takashi revels in the game he plays. However, the line between fantasy and reality becomes increasingly blurred as the consequences of his actions start to impact both worlds. With the fate of Arkania hanging in the balance, can the hero's guild unravel the mystery surrounding Takashi before it's too late? Will Takashi's cunning prove to be his greatest asset or lead to his ultimate downfall? In this tale of ambition and duality, the battle between good and evil takes on a whole new meaning."

Searching (The Last of Us FF)

David, a member of a special forces unit that was sent to Mexico to investigate a mold targeting crops. To David it didn’t seem like the kind of thing he would be assigned to such a mission, but here he was following around scientists and keeping them safe. Not long after all hell begins to break loose, and doing something he never thought he’d do in his whole life he abandoned his post and made his way to the border to get back into the US. He saw what this “mold” was, the scientists told him as such. It was a fungal infection that turned people to into mindless beasts. Now David will make the journey back to Austin Texas and hopefully find his family. David is the middle brother of 3 brothers, his older brother is named Joel and the younger brother is Tommy. He grew distant with his brothers once he joined the military, getting told often that he had changed and become cold. But family is family, especially during an apocalypse. Alright this story is going to start off with just David traveling trying to find his family, tracking down Joel and Tommy. Then going into the events of the games. Not sure how long the travels solo will last, but we’ll see. May throw in some POVs of Joel and Tommy with them talking about David, idk yet. Not even sure how well I’ll stick to this fic as this is mainly a spurt of inspiration after listening to an audio book called Apocalypse Z by Manel Loureiro. Just finished book 2 and it made me want to do a zombie book of my own, and I just so happened to get the small pieces for this fic from it. Hope you enjoy. Chapters will probably only be uploaded on Wednesday and Thursday as those are my days off.
