While they were having their dispute, Song Liya had already guided Yu Yingyi out of the door when someone caught her eye.

Yu Yingyi was still mad when Song Liya suddenly kissed her out of nowhere, all of her feelings changed from anger to embarrassment. This was the first time she's been kissed in her entire lifetime, moreover, it was in public and out of nowhere, how else was she supposed to react?

Yu Yingyi immediately pulled away and asked, "W-what are you doing? Why are you suddenly kissing me out of nowhere?!"

Song Liya smirked, licked her lips, and said, "Nothing, I just wanted to kiss you. I do have to say, you taste delicious, though I wonder how your you know what will taste."

It took a few moments to realize what Song Liya was talking about and replied with, "You perverted, fierce, and cunning princess!" Before taking off.

"Wait! I haven't shown you where our rooms are!" Song Liya called out as she released a sigh.

'I'll find her later.' thought Song Liya.

Once Yu Yingyi left, someone emerged from the shadows.

"Who is that?"

"Zhu Yiwen, are you here to ask me to marry you again?" asked Song Liya.

Zhu Yiwen, the first prince of the Zhu empire that's located north of the Song empire. Every woman liked Zhu Yiwen since he was a handsome man after all, but that made his ego grow bigger.

Due to this, Zhu Yiwen felt like he could get any woman if he tried. When he saw Song Liya for the first time, her beauty and elegance made his heart race, that was the first time he felt love.

Even if Song Liya was fierce, Zhu Yiwen felt like her beauty and elegance covered it. If he could get any woman, couldn't he get Song Liya? Of course, not. After all, this was the vicious young miss we were talking about.

When Zhu Yiwen proposed to Song Liya, he was immediately shot down without any hesitation. It took him a second to process what Song Liya just said. This was the first time a woman he asked out rejected him.

"You heard me, I'm rejecting your proposal," said Song Liya.

"Why? Please give me reasons why you rejected my proposal," said Zhu Yiwen.

"I don't need to give you reasons why I rejected you, you aren't even my type in the first place. Why would I marry someone I haven't even met and not even my type? You must be crazy if you think you even have the slightest chance. Guards! Take this stranger away!" said Song Liya.

"Who're you calling stranger?! I'm the first prince of the Zhu empire! Tsk, you should feel lucky that I chose you, and yet you dare to reject me?! Fine, I could get any woman I wanted to anyway!"

Song Liya watched Zhu Yiwen reveal his true self as he was being taken away, once one's pride was hurt, their true selves would be revealed and all of their facades would disappear.

"Guard!"

"Y-yes!"

"Who was that man and why was he allowed to come inside the palace?" asked Song Liya.

"That was Zhu Yiwen, the first prince of the Zhu empire. Due to women always praising his looks, he became too prideful and hid his true self to swoon ladies." said the guard.

"Hoh?"

That was the first time Song Liya heard of him and met him. His first impression definitely wasn't great.

Even now, Song Liya still had the memory of the meeting clear in her head.

"So? If you're here to ask me to marry you again then I must reject you again cause as you just saw, that was my future wife and me kissing," said Song Liya.

"Tch, don't get too ahead of yourself. I'm only here to witness all of the commotions that were happening in the palace. I heard everything you said about that girl, her beauty could rival one of the imperial princesses? I'd like to find out." said Zhu Yiwen with a noticeable smirk on his face.

Song Liya remained calm, she didn't feel any type of worry at all. Instead, she wanted Zhu Yiwen to go after her girl since she would have an excuse to wipe his existence off the world.

Instead of letting Zhu Yiwen provoke her, Song Liya started walking away and went after Yu Yingyi who was currently lost in the residence.

To imperial families, receiving silence when they asked a question was the most disrespectful thing you could do since everyone was well mannered.

However, Zhu Yiwen learned the first time, he didn't let his pride get to him and went in the other direction. He still had to deliver a message to the emperor.

Yu Yingyi had no idea where she was, wherever she went, there were hallways and rooms everywhere, it was as if she was in an infinite loop but luckily, every design was different. But that didn't change the fact that she was still getting lost.

There was suddenly a cold, chilling wind when Yu Yingyi walked past one of the rooms in the hallway. Yu Yingyi stopped and took a peek out of the window to make sure it was still daytime and there it was, the sun was still up and shining through the window.

Yu Yingyi looked back at the door she walked past by and felt fear swell up inside her. In her past life, she's read many ghost spirits since they were included in the old architecture.

When there was a cold wind, that meant a ghost or spirit was lurking in there.

However, something was telling Yu Yingyi to go through the door.

"You know what, screw it. I've already lived twice, what else do I have to lose," muttered Yu Yingyi.

When Yu Yingyi opened the door, all she saw was darkness, there wasn't a single speck of light that could be seen.

Suddenly, there was a voice that echoed through the room.
