The turning point appeared after I got back to work.

I hadn't seen Jeffery in a long time. He was very busy with countless meetings, documents, and contracts.

This was the end of my first movie, and I was the female lead. Even a year ago, I would never expect my career to develop so smoothly.

It was all because of Jeffery.

I would never ask him for it but he would give whatever I needed.

His assistant was probably calculating how much money and resources the wound on my waist was worth, and how far I could go with what I had done for Jeffery.

On the day of the celebration of the film, I drank a lot and woke up in Jeffery's arms.

The last scene was shot in the water. I had a fever, but I didn't notice it. I thought I was just drunk.

Coincidentally, Jeffery came to the house that night.

I was in a daze due to the fever. I felt cold all over. While I was feeling dizzy, I heard light footsteps approaching.
