The Theory of the Ancients

Three months later, it was about time for Brent to leave the training room.

He was carried out of the room by two Saiyans. He was surprised to find out that they weren't his parents rather a middle-aged couple.

The two Saiyans then explained their identities. They turn out to be his Aunt Meg and Uncle Ben. It seems his parents died in a war with another strong planet taking an enemy general with them.

"Hmph, at least they're not totally useless, to pay off my debts of them giving me a new life I'll seek vengeance on their behalf and devour that planet in the future"

From his aunt, he found out the name of that planet and he silently remembered it in his heart.

After coming to Uncle Ben and Aunt Meg's house, Brent now known as Zefflar as he decided his name wasn't befitting of his status changed it. Zefflar passed his time comfortably he continued his training regimen deciding to not overdo it, and also establish a firm foundation so it was still just ki sense, and ki control training for the moment.

He also found out he had an adopted cousin the same age. She was the offspring his aunt's squadrons teammates who also died too the war. She was an annoying little twerp to Zefflar though.

After meeting her for the first time the little Saiyan would always follow him around. Which most of the time interrupted his training, she was reluctant to leave even when eating and sleeping. Luckily for him though she was born a Mid-class Saiyan so she had to attend the classes. Unlike him who was neglected for being a low-class warrior with the lowest potential.

Generally, a Saiyan child's potential is based on inborn combat power. A Saiyan from 2-30 is a low-class warrior, 40-100 mid-class, 100-200 high-class, 200-300 Elite-class, and 300-400 the so-called super elite Vegeta was so proud of.

All of these Saiyan infants will be then split up into groups and attend the warrior training classes, thus establishing the social class hierarchy. Well, all of these Saiyan infants except the low-class Saiyans. They're sent out to infiltrate low-level planets and wipe out all lifeforms so they can be sold for Frieza.

This way all the low leveled warriors die out, most never return from a mission.

Days passed and little Zeff kept getting stronger and stronger. He soon surpassed all the other Saiyan "talents." Figuring it was time for him to step up his training a year and a half later he decided to do physical training.

He started off with basic training of the US Army. Instead of the usual though he made it 5x harder. 250 pushups instead of 50 in 2 minutes, 300 situps in 2 minutes, and a 12-mile run in 13-15 minutes. As usual, after some weeks of training, he got used to the pushups pretty quickly the sprint however always held him back. He just couldn't complete it no matter how hard he tried without his ki.

A couple months later, a young Saiyan infant can be seen sprinting with his all. He had long spiky hair, tied up in a ponytail, and the front was curled to the side.

"Damn I forgot how much it sucks to do this shit! To think I used to hate sitting on my ass and doing meditation when I first started."

Finally after enduring his extreme training regimen for three years tomorrow was the finally the day of his mission. His battle power had significant breakthroughs, he was currently at 1500 battle power.

Compared to Son Goku in the anime during the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament and his fight against Piccolo Zeff is way ahead, and Zeff hasn't even learned Kami Style Martial Arts.

During these three years, Zeff has also found something interesting about his Saiyan bloodline. He had Alice run some test after discovering his blood essence was scarlet red. The whole purpose of his {Choatic Breathing Manual} was to make up for his lack of talent by breaking the limitations of his physique refining it with Ki and evolving. So due to this his talent as a low-class Saiyan never bothered him because he was confident he could evolve his talent to something much higher than any super elite.

However, after studying his bodies internal structure he realized that the talent structure of Saiyans wasn't so simple. After running various test and studying various Saiyans he came up with an analogy.

He suspects the talent of the so-called low-class Saiyans were, in fact, higher than the other Saiyans reason being. It was said that the Ancient Saiyans were extremely powerful, they were born as giant ape's and from there they grew stronger through constant life and death battles with each other. Saiyans in ape form only have the most primal of instincts, so in order for them to develop intelligence they would have to gain control over their emotions and from there they would need to start to condense their bodies achieving a humanoid form. This humanoid form would later go on to be named ssj4, but not all of these Saiyan apes could achieve this those that did, however, were extremely talented.

The Saiyans Planet Sadala was destroyed in a war, this planet was extremely suitable for Saiyan lifeforms without it it was extremely likely they would die. So in order to prevent this, they would need to adapt and evolve. Thus explaining why the current Saiyan was different from the Ancient Saiyan, and the universe 6th Saiyan. It was simple really someone or something interfered with the growth and evolution of the Saiyan race. Zeff discovered the same scarlet blood in other Saiyans, mostly all of them low-class to mid-class Saiyans.

The reason these Saiyans were inferior to the rest was simple, they were more talented than the average Saiyan apes so it took them longer to evolve into the current Saiyans.

Moreover, due to lack of means to condense their bodies, they find it harder to grow stronger than the rest of the Saiyans. That would also explain the limit of the Saiyans being 10,000, why was it only low-class Saiyans that can't control their great ape forms, most importantly it would also explain the mystery of ssj1 and why was it Bardock to transform first? Him a low-class Saiyan, also Goku's outrageous talents it was the Ancient Saiyan bloodline in them not willing to give up and die out.

Yomoshi the first Saiyan God was also believed to have achieved ssj1 in his ape form, meaning Super Saiyan was indeed a thing in the past but just extremely rare. Coming to this conclusion Zefflar had a whole new respect for the Saiyan race as a whole he thought it was the most suitable race possible for him.

That would also explain that Scarlet consciousness in that strange space, he believed it to be a consciousness of an Ancient Saiyan warrior. His Ancient Saiyan bloodline was strengthening day by day this would a lot of things. Why was he reborn as a Saiyan? Why did he have a much denser quality and quantity of Ancient Saiyan bloodline in his bloodstream?

The other Saiyans had more quality than quantity, meaning the concentration of bloodline in them was extremely thin. Noticing this he realized that those two consciousness weren't so simple. He had no idea what they're exact uses were but he was sure he'd soon find out.

"Sigh, it seems this life of mines isn't so simple. But that's just how I like it, it'll be too boring without a mystery and a challenge!"
