MJ's p.o.v.

Dear Diary,

Today is my first day at Fratner High School. I am planning to keep a low key so the same thing that happened last year doesn't happen again. I just don't want to end up expelled because of a guy. Anyhow, I must get going to school, goodbye.

I shut my diary and ran downstairs.

"Marianne, your gonna miss the bus!" My mom yelled from the kitchen.

"No I'm not! Not on the first day of school!" I yelled grabbing my bag off the hook and dashing out the door.

The bus stopped at the end of the drive and the door slung open.

"Hey sweety, are you new? I can't seem to remember you from last year." The bus driver said politely.

"Yes ma'am, my name is Marianne, but everyone calls me MJ." I said with a smile.

"Well good morning MJ, welcome to Fratner County. My name is Mrs. Grace."

"Good morning Mrs. Grace. " I greeted the kind bus lady and then took a seat in the back.

There were 3 other kids on the bus. The one in the front looked fairly smart. But the ones in the back looked like they were ready to get into a fight.

I sat on the last seat behing this wanna be bad girl. Then I realized that the bus stopped again. I looked up and seen my friend that moved last year.

"MJ?" She yelled in joy and dashed to the back of the bus. I just smiled.

"Hey Chay." I laughed because she was so fast to get up here that she almost fell in the process.

"Hey, Raelyn, you know this chick?" A guy said looking over at us from the seat across.

Raelyn?

"Yeah, she's my friend from JHS. This is MJ, or do you still go by that now?" She turned to me asking.

"I still go by that. But it seems I can't call you Chayna anymore." I said raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, yeah, I fell into the popular croud and became friends with the most popular girls in school. The 6R group. There are 6 girls and their name starts with r. There is Rylin, Regina, Rachel, Ricky, Regin, and me, Raelyn." She rambled.

"Wow you got it here." I said in surprise.

"Yeah but we are looking for someone new, Ricky went to boarding school because her brother was shipped there. Wait, YOU COULD ME THE NEW R! We could call you Renae, or Raven." She was so excited but I had to burst her bubble.

"I can be in any group you put me in but I'm not changing my name. And FYI, remember my middle name?" I explained to her laughing.

"RILEY!!!" She yelled in excitement.

"Then what's the J?" The guy next to us said in a husky voice.

"I-I-It s-stands for J-Jacobs. Marianne Jacobs." I mentally slap myself for stuttering so much.

Chayna waggled her eyebrows at me and I gave her a mean look.

"Nice to meet you MJ." He said sticking his hand out. Before I even could reach for it Chayna broke in.

"Riley." She cut in.

"MJ is my name and I'm sticking to that." And with that I stuck my hand out and shook the guy's hand.

"My name is Colton, Colton Frasier." I smiled at him. But then I heard a gun shot.

"Did you hear that?" Colton said looking threw the windows.

"64!" Me and Chayna said in unison pointing at each other.

We all heard it again and the bus went everywhere.

"What the fuck!" The girl in front of me yelled.

"We're being shot at." I heard the shot again and felt a sharp pain in my leg.

I looked out the window and seen my ex.

"He's the reason why I was expelled last year!" I yelled and Colton and Chayna just stared at me and Chayna was crying.

We it a huge curb and we started to turn over.

"Hold on!" Colton yelled.

We turned on the side of the bus and my leg that was shot went numb. I couldn't feel it at all. Then I looked next to me and Colton was knocked out.

"Colton wake up. Chayna you okay?" I yelled.

"NO! HOW CAN YOU ASK THAT RIGHT NOW? ARE YOU USED TO THIS OR SOMETHING. WE WERE JUST SHOT AT WITH A GUN AND YOU ARE ASKING IF IM OKAY?" She yelled in terror.

Then I realized that the person in the car behing us was getting out.

"Drew, we ended this thing over summer when you went to jail. What did you escape?"

"Had some help." He said cocking the gun and pointing it at me. "But you can't escape death."

"Drew was shooting at us?" Chayna cried and I looked back at drew and he was pale.

"Chayna? CHAYNA IS ON THIS FUCKING BUS?" He yelled and broke threw the window exit and was on the bus.

"You did God knows what to my best friend, went to JAIL AND BROKE OUT, and just shot at the bus I was on?" She yelled poring out tears.

"The baby?" He mumbled.

"Are you serious? OUR FUCKING BABY NEVER MADE IT! BUT YOU WANT TO ASK THAT WHEN YOU WERE ABOUT TO KILL SOMEONE." Chayna cried.

"Told you Andrew. Your child was dead. That is why he wants to kill me. Because he thinks that I hurt you because supposedly I used to like him. I would rather suck on a strangers cock." I rolled my eyes.

"She did nothing wrong with me. I fell really sick with breast cancer. My doctor said that there was a 5% chance the baby was gonna make it. After I beat cancer, a week later I went into labor. I gave birth, and the baby's lungs and brain both collapsed. They tried but the baby died when it came out." She started pouring more and more tears.

"Ugh, my head." Colton said reaching for his forehead.

"Colton, oh my gosh!" I tried to sit up to help him but my leg was bleeding out a lot and I was starting to get dizzy.

"MJ?" I heard Chayna yell and I couldn't even raise my head up anymore. "MJ!" I heard and it echoed threw my mind as everything went black.
