Chapter 1

Iris remembers when the DDA came on her land. She didn't like it then and she doesn't like it now. They want to split up the pack and place them in the dragon shifters lands. If it weren't for the teen boy shifter they wouldn't have been discovered. The Wolfbloods have co-existed with humans and no one was the weiser. In the matter of moment dragon clan leaders will be here to take groups away. Iris looked at her mother holding her twin brothers Arrow and Alasdair. Iris tried to keep the family together but the DDA wouldn't hear of it. She managed to keep the twins together but that was the best she could do with the circumstances. "Iris flower don't blame yourself it's not your fault pet." Her mother's soft voice filled her as her mother held her cubs close to her. "My sweet cubs you are the light of my life. I am sorry for any hardship you may face. You must remember your Wolfbloods the spirit of the forest. Your wolves will always be with you our connection will always be there." Her mother was right the mind link will never be severed. Iris just wondered for how long till the humans want that. Soon the sound of car doors alerts the pack. Iris with a sigh stood infront of her pack mates.

Iris pov

I looked around at the nervous bunch. "Brothers and sisters this is not the end. We are and forever will be a pack. We have the link so we will never truly be separated. Our wolves will guide us so one day we will return to our home goddess willing. Follow the dragons treat them like you would treat each other. We meet back here next full moon." I said making them stand and bow their heads to me followed by 'yes my alpha' I look to the tree line. "Come on now we don't bite. We may growl at ya but won't bite." I said and then five male dragon shifters came forward with a group of humans. "We are looking for the alpha." One of the humans said shaking. My eyes flash gold with a grin on my face. "Careful humans the smell of fear is enticing us." I chuckled making them hide behind the dragons. "I take it your the alpha then lass. I am Bram Moore-Llewellyn from Stonefire. I am the dragon assigned to take you and fifteen other wolves." He was tall well built black hair, blue eyes, he had a bit of scruff. "I am the alpha Iris Cassandra Rossi." I saw his lips curve up. "Fine name ya have now come we need to go." He said calmly holding out his hand to me. 'I don't trust this one.' Rain my wolf said in my head. I sigh knowing we don't have a choice. I turned and pointed to fifteen different wolves ranging from female, male, and cub. I look at my mum and brother one last time before taking Bram's hand. A shock ran trew me. The hell was that oh no it cant be. This dragon is my intended mete I thought looking up into his eyes. He to had the same shocked expression. "We will talk more about this home." He said his explanation soft before looking at the pack mates following. "Lets get going dinner will be waiting when we get there." He said pulling me along making some of them growl. 'Calm down I am fine' I growl in Lupin. Bram looked down at me confused. "Wolfbloods have our own language it called Lupin. " He nods leading us to a basket. "You all get in and I will fly us home." He said before waling ten feet away. Saying I wasn't curious would be a lie. "Alright cubs in the center the rest of us will circle around them." I said and they complied. Once we were ready I watched the dragon shifter shift. He was a beautiful cerulean blue dragon. The breath hitched in my throat when he jump into the air picking up the basket. The flight was not long but tore at my heart because my pack is being ripped from our ancestral home. I hear the sad howls of my pack and send one in reply. The life we knew before is gone now we have to play nice not only with the humans but the dragons as well.
